I question of ideology, while important to some looking to give this existence meaning but not everyone, I present it mainly towards leadership but others may feel free to reply.  What does family mean to you?  Is a family simply an organization that houses the masses as a collection of people, or is it a place of camaraderie and kinship?  Do you look at those alongside you and question their motives on a daily basis or do you live for them and fight for them without question?  In this world there are many interpretations of success.  One could say striving to live the longest, justifying the end result by any path necessary is one of them and, if you are one of those people whom consider themselves a realist, do you consider legacy as a matter of importance? And if so is there a particular legacy you wish to be remembered for?

I think, while there may be many definitions of family, the one constant is that it comes before anything else.

what you look for in a family is intrinsic to the individual.

That's a fair answer Zebedee, and a rather insightful statement on the definition of family. 

To expand on that would you believe it is possible for a single family to exist in many, swearing fealty only to each other.  And if so, at that point would they be considered a rogue organization or is this as acceptable as any other alternative?
