MG-PPR Corporate Release

As the old saying goes, there is no smoke without fire.  Some fires happen accidentally, and sometimes the fire is there because somebody has made a pile of rubbish and thrown a match in.  Whichever one it is, the innocent always have nothing to fear.  It’s not like the paranoid court of public opinion has ever taken nonsense and treated it as gospel.

Since this story broke and snowballed, there have been efforts to pay off MG-PPR presumably in an effort to buy our silence…$10 million, $20 million even going as high as $40 million.  While good and bad journalism costs money, we at MG-PPR would like to reassure our loyal and avid readership that no payments were taken.  While we will not disclose the source of the offers, MG-PPR will ensure that our reporting and integrity will remain unsullied by any paid for influence. 

Spades will continue to be called spades except when we decide to call them deckchairs for the sake of a good yarn.
