Soo I was thinking. When a friend of yours passes to the other side a fair amount of us come back to see who provided sentiments. I think it would be a good idea to have the option through the funeral link to provide the "next of kin" gifts. Such as money, credits, gifts purchasable by credit. It could help the roleplay effort a bit.
*Mack enters the funeral of blablabla weeping uncontrollably. There sits the wife of his friend and their children. He approaches them with a fat envelope to the eldest child.* Here's a gift for your future kiddo. Give me a holler when you're of age. |

+1 from me I think it's good idea if regulated properly, for example a set limit on what you can be gifted. |

I have no objection, and while i see easy ways around it, I do agree that there should be a limit. say, 250k. |

| I like the idea too. Like an anonymous bank key, but for the next of kin. | |

Good idea, and i agree with Philli-stein that it should have a reasobable limit, if only to prevent, during times of war, a CL passing his wealth to a dead crew member thereby ensuring that untold millions survive into future generations. |

I completely agree with the restriction of funds donated! I wrote this up during my graveyard shift and didn't fully write out any and all parameters that would come with such a status. |

It should probably have some anonymity to it too. Right now, anyone using a player's referral link, will STILL have their new identity broadcast to the original player who provided the referral, blowing the new character's anonymity immediately. Any gift or donation made via funeral should be able to be redeemed by the returning player without broadcasting the new player's identity to the player that donated the gift. |

Curtis also speaks wisdom. Anonymity of gift opening seems like a smart call. |

| +1 from me. To a limit per account gifting. In fairness though, it’d be easy enough to keep a gangster in your crew who is trusted (Know em ooc?) and just send them all your money in the event of a war. Because we don’t typically do scorched earth the money should be safe. | |
