Alexander Hamilton was a kid that loved New York and as an immigrant he wanted to make a mark on the new world.  He was looking for work and it wasn’t an easy task as immigrants poured into the states daily looking for that road to wealth, the so called american dream.  Never before had things looked so hopeful even if it was the exact same in the old country.  American was different, the smells, the feeling, everything just was.  Thin he found a place that was willing to give him a chance.  Alexander's job was to stock the fruit stand every morning and stock the shelves every afternoon.  Then bring the unsold fruit in at the end of the day.  The pay was seventy-five cents a day.  Mr. Leavin gave Hamilton a shot at his store however he denied a young man that wanted that position.  Derrick Burr was older and very upset that Hamilton got the position.  Hamilton worked hard day and night; he even straightened the stock room so that it was easy to find products and move around.

After the first week Hamilton received his first paycheck it was three dollars and eighty two cents the remainder went to taxes.  As Hamilton walked home that night he spotted Burr and Burr was drunk and still upset with Hamiltion.  Work had gotten back to Hamilton that Burr was angry about not getting the job.  Hamilton didn’t understand why Mr. Burr would be angry with him when Hamilton was smarter and had managed a trading post at fourteen.  Hamilton was very smart but had no filter or polish.  He spoke what was on his mind and it got him into many fights.  Hamilton had so many flights that he became quite good at it.  He was once offered a chance to fight professionally but rejected the idea as he wanted to use his brains and not his brawn.  He decided to avoid a confrontation and ducked down an alley.  However word had gotten back to Burr that Hamilton was ducking him and that made Burr more confident in his accusations and belief that he could defeat Hamilton in a brawl.    So Burr hatched a plan to trap Hamilton and force him into a reaction that would result in fisticuffs.

Burr went to collect two of his buddies Jonathan Edwards and Robert Trout. They were to force Hamilton to walk down certain blocks that would lead him to Burr; it would be there that Burr would challenge the young Hamilton and test his manhood.  The plan worked and there they all stood Burr age 24 and Hamilton only19 stood face to face. Jonathan age 25 and Robert age 23 stood behind Hamilton.  Hamilton was witty but he knew that he was trapped and the best way out was to face his accuser head on.  Hamilton started with questioning why Burr would accuse someone much younger of stealing his job when in fact Burr never worked there.  Burr looked at the two men with him and having no answer swung and missed while Hamilton connected several punches to Burr’s face and ribcage.  At the beginning of the onslaught it was Hamilton that had the advantage.  Watching from across the street a gangster by the name of Drake yelled to Jonathan and Robert that they better help their friend.  Hamilton continued punching Burr hoping that someone would break the fight up.

It was the opposite; they jumped in helping Burr.  Hamilton was taking shots from behind to his head and body he turned to swing hitting hard but not as fast as the four fist connecting and then it became six fist connecting.  Hamilton heard the voice from across the street again saying you three can’t even knock him down, he’s giving it back as fast as you guys are dishing it out.  Hamilton knew then that no one was coming to his aid so he needed to swing faster and still hit harder.  Then Hamilton realized that he wasn’t getting hit as many times as he had been merely seconds ago.  He realized someone was helping him as he heard the voice from across the street again yelling three on two and the two are kicking your asses.  Hamilton had Jonathan under him, Hamilton was punching him in the face as he held Jonathan in place by his hair.   The guy that Jumped in was punching Robert and Burr, knocking them down with every third punch, they looked like toys falling as the other was standing.   Then They traded positions as Hamilton started punching Robert then Burr.  They kept that momentum going until the end.

Thomas stood stoically, his chest heaving as he tried to take as deep of a breath as he could, standing over the groaning men as they writhed on the ground. His knuckles were cracked and split, blood dripping down the back of his hand. He could feel the bruises that were starting to form along his rib cage in the left side.

He wasn’t really sure why he got involved, he didn’t know any of the parties involved. Maybe it was just the fact that it was a three on one. Hell, for all he knew, he had just helped the guy that was in the wrong.

Thomas Raith had unfortunately, grown used to situations like this. He had spent his formative years scraping by and making ends meet anyway he could growing up on the streets of Seattle. He had learned how to throw a beating when he was younger, but more importantly, he learned how to catch a beating as well. Two skills that help him out of more than a few occasions over the years.

Time seemed to slow for a long beat as Thomas tried to catch his breath until he was snapped back to reality by the echoing sounds of the sirens that were tearing through the streets trying to get to their location. As nice as it would have been to keep throwing punches, it wasn’t worth the night’s stay in lockup. It wouldn’t have been just first stay and Thomas was deadset on not having to return there anytime soon.

”Pleasure meeting you and all but, it’s about time we get out of here.”

Thomas quickly and casually strode a few more business down the street before taking a left into a shadowed alleyway.

Thomas Raith was right, Hamilton heard the sirens in the distance coming closer, they needed to get out of there.   Then Drake walked over and introduced himself to them and told them to follow him.   Thomas nor Hamilton knew the man that was giving them advice.  Looking at each other Hamilton hunched his shoulders and Thomas gave a head nod, so they followed Drake as he led them away from the quickly arriving cops. Drake took them to a bar two blocks away.  Hamilton offered to buy Thomas a drink as a token of his appreciation for his help in that mess that occurred a few minutes ago.  Drake told them that he liked what he saw, they way that they handled themselves and how at this moment they maintained a cool demeanor.  Drake offered them work the pay was something that they could use as it was far more than they could make working for anyone.  Drake had the two men working together one several projects such as collections and deliveries Thomas and Hamilton became pals and as they made money Drake moved up the chain.

Hamilton and Thomas were sent to Detroit to make a purchase for Canadian whiskey with the purple gang.  The deal was simple, exchange the cash for the trucks and get the product to Drake as soon as possible.  Hamilton never worked with the purple gang and he heard that they did business fairly however they also worked with big Al out of Chicago and Frankie Yale out of New York.  Hamilton knew Yale and Yale was a highest bidder buys his loyalty and gun type of guy until the next highest bidder.   Hamilton expressed his concerns to Thomas and Thomas agreed that they needed to be careful.  Thomas explained that in the world they move in it's always the highest bidder.  Hamilton said true but there comes a point when friendship and honor should winout.  Thomas agreed and helped form a plan where he would lay back with five guys while Hamilton walked in with the three drivers and the cash.  Hamilton said the driver will be carrying pistols and Thomas and his group would be carrying thompson’s ready to roll in if they heard shooting or they were not out in fifteen minutes.

They were to meet with Jacob and Adam Goldmen ; they were brothers and they needed the cash as the cops were starting to catch members of the gang.  Abe wanted to take the money, keep the booze and sell it to someone else and repeat the process a few times and then leave michigan.  Word had gotten back to Hamilton as Abe told the plan to a woman he was sleeping with.  She hated him because he was also mistreating her and caused her brother to get a lengthy prison sentence.  She knew Hamilton and he always showed her and her sister kindness but Adam cut her sister’s face when she made jokes about him and his pecker.  Hamilton then went back to Thomas and told him what he was told so the plan changed just a bit.  Hamilton got there sooner and the three men he had were well armed; and as the brothers rode in with the three trucks,  Thomas came in behind them with their guns.  Jacob asked why all the hardware?  Hamilton told them that with all the arrest they couldn’t be too sure if the cops would bust them or a rival gang would take their product.

Hamilton handed the case with the cash to Jacob while watching for Adam to make any moves.  Adam asked why was Hamilton looking at him?  Hamilton said that he heard that Adam was a guy that liked to dress well and he liked Adam’s suit.  Adam started smiling as he was talking to Jacob bragging how he was known as a well dresser all over the states.  Hamilton watched as Jacob stated that the money was correct and that they could leave.  Hamilton men were already behind the wheels of the trucks and they rolled out first.  Hamilton walked past Jacob and got into the car with Thomas and they drove behind the trucks.  Adam then said that they should have shown up earlier and Jacob said they would have gunned us down let's just get out of here they got the booze and we got our cash.

Things had been going well lately for Thomas and Alexander-Hamilton. They were working hard and opportunities kept being presented to them. Each job was a little more complex than the last. Needed a little more thinking. A little more planning. A little more fire power.

Thomas didn’t mind though, he treated it as a challenge, a competition. The only way to get any better was to practice and that’s what this was. A crash course into the life that would set a base for Thomas and Hamilton’s futures.

The more Thomas pulled off jobs with Hamilton, the smoother things began to run. They were learning to trust each other. There was a familiarity there. Thomas knew what Hamilton would do in any given situation and vice versa. That was the way it needed to be. That’s how they would survive all of this. It wasn’t something that could be done alone without at least one person watching his back.

Thomas was sitting comfortably in his Seattle apartment when the phone rang. Another day, another job, Thomas thought you himself. “Yes, Sir. Speaking...Not a problem. I’ll get it taken care off...Yes, Sir, I’ll save you the call. I’ll be in touch when it’s done.”

After letting out a long sigh and running his fingers through his hair, Thomas picked up the phone and let Alexander-Hamilton know about the job.

They had done a lot as freelancers, but this was a new job. A new beast altogether. They had covered the gamut from drug dealings to robberies to stealing cars but never clean cut murder. That was what was being asked of them now. They were to remove a rival that had been asking too many questions lately. They wasn’t any solid evidence that the guy was a rat but where there is smoke, there is fire and the powers that be couldn’t let a risk that big keep walking the streets.

After collecting his things, Thomas rushed to the airport. The plan was to meet Hamilton in New York where the rat had been hiding out, albeit not that well. The flight was easy enough and after meeting up, the two jumped in the back of a cab, Thomas handing over an address on a folded piece of paper to the driver.

Thomas and Hamilton worked the details out on the way. There wasn’t any reason for being subtle here. This was supposed to be a message sent to anyone else who wanted to turn rat. It had to be public, even if that made things a little more complicated.

The rat was just finishing up his food at some swanky restaurant as Thomas leaned against the brick of the building beside the door, pulling out a smoke and lighting it up. A few moments later, the rat stepped into the streets. Making no effort to move, Thomas called out to the man, “The family sends its regards.”

Immediately knowing what was meant by that, the rat took off running. Unfortunately for him, that was part of the plan. As he sprinted a single gunshot rang out, Hamilton stepping out of the alleyway with the smoking gun still held out at arms length. Thomas watched as he took a few steps forward and emptied the clip into the lifeless body on the sidewalk.

Thomas was sitting at the bar while Hamilton sat on the couch in Drake's house.  Drake told them that he was now a Capo in the Bruno family and was given a task that could make them famous and move him up to underboss.  The Larsky family along with the Bruno family got word that the Bananas family and the O’connor family wanted them removed.  The Fabbrezio will side with the Bruno and Larsky family since there was no Commission vote on this.  The job given to him that is now given to this was to kidnap Jackie Bananas and make the Bananas organization pay for his release.  This way we know who’s loyal to Jackie in that family and who the Commission need to deal with.  Drake looked at the two men with a drink in his hand told them that's where they came in.  If they do this then no family gets blamed, they do it right and they would be inducted into two of the families as made men.  Drake wanted them to form a plan and get back with him.  Hamilton told Drake that if they fucked this up then they could be wacked for kidnapping a member of the commission, a Don, and with them not being connected, its a death sentence.  To touch a made man let alone touching a Don was a big ask.

Hamilton needed information on where Jackie Bananas hangs out and when he is the least protected.  They couldn’t do the research on this because if they were spotted the plan would be exposed and they would be killed.  Drake smiled and said he was already on that.  However he wanted Thomas to form a plan on where they would hold him and how they would collect the money.  Hamilton was to review the info and conduct the kidnapping and get Jackie to the location.  Thomas was to ensure that no one followed Hamilton from the heist and ensure that the Bananas family received a call letting them know they needed three million in cash.  The Commission will talk with the O’connor family Don and get a confession and then move on the Bananas Family.  Hamilton will get the info as soon and was to select enough guys that he trusts to help with the heist.  Thomas would have to do the same to keep watch over the location and collect the cash.  Hamilton said these guys will need to be paid and they will need a lot as they won’t become members of a family.  Being connected to a member is cool but this this puts them at risk and the compensation needs to warrant the risk.  Drake nodded and told them to meet back in three days.

Growing up in Seattle, it wasn’t all that hard for Thomas to find a nice secluded spot down at the docks that would work perfectly. There had been a set of buildings that had burned when Thomas was younger. No one ever did anything with them. They sat there as burnt out shells of themselves, the perfect place right on the water for things such as these.

Catching a cab, he decided to go check them out, make sure none of the homeless moved in to escape the elements. Thomas couldn’t blame them if they did, with the way the Seattle weather went, he’d constantly be looking for dry places as well. If he did stumble across anyone, they were going to have to go but he had enough cash on himself that he could get them a place to stay, at least for one night.

Everything was quiet except for the rush of the waves against the pier poles as Thomas exited the cab. That was a good thing. The sun was just beginning to set and he could still see the crowds of people on the other side of the bay but no sounds. Under the cover of darkness, no one would have any clue what so ever that anyone was over here.

Thomas headed toward a building in the center of the cluster. It’s left side was completely burnt down to the beams but the side closest the water only had a little charring on its siding. The inside was just as unblemished, if not a bit dusty. There was a large concrete factory floor with two offices each on either side.

As soon as Thomas stepped into the first office, he knew this place wasn’t empty. A small bed roll was laid out on the floor, various pieces of clothing piled in the corner. He let out a loud sigh as soon as he heard the soft whimpering that was coming from the other side of the desk.

”It’s alright, you can come out. I’m not here to hurt you.” Thomas kept his voice calm, even.

After a long pause, two trembling figures appeared. A father and his young daughter that was clinging tightly to his chest. Her tiny fingers gripping so hard in fear that her knuckles were white. You could tell dad had seen better days. Dark old bruises were still healing underneath his eyes and cheekbones and there was a large split with dried blood on his upper lip.

”Oh, Christ.” Thomas muttered to himself, “Well, then, let’s get to it. Is there anyone else here?” Thomas made a motion with his hand, “These other offices empty?”

”As-as-as fa-far as I know.” The father managed to stutter out.

”Hey, it’s alright. Just relax. Nothing bad is going to happen here today.” Thomas made a slow move to reach into his inside jacket pocket, causing the pair to flinch, “This is for you. Take it all. It should be enough to find a place for you and your little girl. My card is in here as well. Once you get a roof over your heads, give me a call. We’ll see if we can find you something to do.” Thomas’ demeanor shifted subtly, “Right now though, you guys have to get out of here. There’s a cab waiting outside, take it and find a room for the night, it should be early enough that there should be a few vacancies.”

”Th-thank you so much!” The father exclaimed as he grabbed the folded bills and business card, “I’ll repay you for this one day! I promise!”

”Don’t mention it. Just keep your little girl safe.”

After they left, Thomas spent a few more minutes checking the place out before leaving as well. He found a pay phone around the corner, lifting the receiver to his ear as he dropped his coin into the slot and dialed the number, “Afternoon, Alexander-Hamilton...found us the perfect place.”

Thomas and Hamilton presented the plan to Drake.  Drake gave them the go ahead and the two were off.  Three days later Hamilton met with Jackie Bananas under the guises that it was to offer his family a partnership in a business venture that would lead to millions.   They were to meet at Jackie’s home where he had two men with him at all times.  Hamilton arrived early and with several men that snuck onto the property.  Hamilton had one man with him, Aaron.  They sat in the waiting room in Jackie’s house.  Hamilton explained that if he was to produce financial assistants that his cut would be 20% and the other four families in New York would be at 5%.  Jackie agreed and said that he would give them two million but he also wanted them to build a casino in Canada.  Hamilton told Jackie that he would speak with his Don and if that was a needed point in their partnership he would get that approved for one of the five casinos built. Then Jackie sent one of his men to pour drinks.  Hamilton looked around for the second man but did not see him.  Then Aaron walked in with George, Thomas, and James.  Jackie's eyes widened and wondered who these men were.   The men gagged Jackie and tied his hands behind his own back.  They put a cloth sack over his head and escorted Jackie to one of his own cars.   Hamilton saw the dead bodies of Jackie’s two men.  They also told him that there were six other men outside on the grounds that met their maker today.

They took the car that Hamilton driven up in with Aaron and the car with Jackie in the trunk.  They drove off and Thomas Raith and his men were waiting on the streets in parked cars to ensure that they were not followed and to escort them to the location.  When they got there they pulled Jackie from the trunk of the car.  The location remained secret from Hamilton so that if he was captured he would not be able to expose a plan to where they would hide him.  Thomas Raith had made the ransom phone call to Jackie’s underboss Casper Diangelo telling him that he needed to come up with four million if they wanted their boss back.  They were given three days to drop the money off at a set location.  Meanwhile Hamilton looked at the burned out warehouse but there were a few rooms that were still able to provide shelter from the elements and provide a defensive position against someone shooting at them.  George took the extra men and placed them into positions that they would be able to see people coming.  Thomas Jefferson watched over Jackie and James was with Hamilton.  Aaron took the cars and ensured they were well hidden as Hamilton and James brought the food that they had in the trunk of his car.  Thomas had weapons and ammunition at the location.  Between the men that they had it was 15 in total.  They understood the importance of this and the reward of this if it works.  Hamilton didn’t want to stay there long so he was going to end Jackie before the morning sun arises.  Thomas Raith returned and him and Hamilton spoke about what was to happen next and when and how the money would be picked up.  Hamilton didn’t care about the money he wanted the deed done and to get out of the area.

Jackie finally fell asleep and Hamilton gave James the nod and James pulled out his blade and walked over to Jackie and the deed was done.  Three days later Jackie was out to collect the money.  However Thomas was captured and never seen from again.  Jackie’s body was never found either.  Hamilton met with his boss Drake who took Hamilton in as his associate.  Hamilton was deeply saddened by the loss of his pal Thomas Raith
