Anton returns from a trio of funerals to the shocking news that two of the deaths had been faked, and that all three men were one and the same...

We all remember PhillipMarleau.  Yes, he was a boring, pedantic buffoon.  But he at least died like a man, the latest in a long line of idiots to duel to late CommissarZverev.

And we remember OrionByrne - DickGrayson - MattMurdock - Billy_Russo - TommyDonnelly - Tom_Brady

We remember their dedicated tenacity when it came to soliloquy.  We recall their pomous nature.  We recall their deaths at the hands of men of enormous power, wealth, wit and humour.

We recall the only member of this bloodline to make anything of himself: PhilipMarleauJr.

And we recall a bloodline at ease with itself.  Not one of the fantasists, no.  A storyteller.  And not a bad one, either.  Just a bit of a dickhead.

I was fond of Billy_Russo.  We spoke most days.  

We were aware that his grandson, Thomas_Raith, was carving out a discrete career.  We wished him well.

And then, from out of nowhere, a man in disguise appeared, calling himself KukuDoesDrugs, and brandishing some private telegrams that myself and Billy_Russo had shared!!  Quickly, I inducted the man into my crime family and killed him, but not before he spilled bigotry into the Streets.

And then, quick as a flash, another man appeared!  KukuTheLiar!  Making the same wild accusations.  

And then, it was like thick fog appeared everywhere, and a shot rang out....

It was one of those occasions when City Hall acts decisively, and their federal agents strike so hard that nobody really knows what just happened....

But we were told that Thomas_Raith and KukuTheLiar were masquerading as people that they weren't.  So they were struck down.

His bloodline DISGRACED.  Forever. 

We will leave the last words to KukuDoesDrugs.  Words that damn himself from beyond the grave:

"Where’s that mother fucker who should have been banned for life after spending a bunch of time on multiple occasions in federal prison"

Rubberlips, in particular, is so disappointed in this turn of events that he is searching for a tailor to make him a good suit.  If only there was one left... 

And, lest we forget, KarrinMurphy - another bitter disappointed to this once...  This bloodline.  

Anton, I knew of Billy_Russo. I didn't know him as well you did - that is to say personally or, perhaps, intimately - but I was aware of his presence in the world. Some called him The Underboss of The Streets. And to know of that relationship, only to see the manner in which his kin betrayed your trust with the publishing of private correspondence, I could not help but be reminded of another great treachery: the stunning fall of the Billy_Mastrosimone lineage, who will forever be known as scammers, frauds and swindlers. What happened to these men? To what cruel, personal flaw do they owe their humiliation? 

PhillipMarleauJr is turning in his grave. 

I remember fondly the times that the Marleau line "stood up and said something". Not because they were actually standing up to anything except a fictional crusade constructed in their own imagination, but because they were just so fanatically passionate in their self-righteousness. It was amazing to see, but now? How could anyone still take him seriously?

He claimed to have despised Anton because of his incarceration in Admin Jail, but where does a lightning bolt from the Gods rank in his hierarchy of scumbaggery?

He claims to have despised Anton because of his lies, but now we discover he was lying about being different people all along. Rather embarrassingly it must be said, this appears to have been done both to toot his own horn about the greatness of his writing because nobody else would and to deride the works of an actual writer in Anton. 

I didn't actually believe that the Marleau line was jealous of Anton and I still find that hard to perceive, although the evidence is kind of pointing that way. I don't really want to think of the ramifications to this once proud lineage, so I will instead choose to remember the Marleau line for the things they said most often to me:
