I agree with you.  However, I still advocate that there can be no such thing as a 'leader of the streets'

'the streets' are not a group, or an organisation and as such need no leader and to presume as much is simply self aggrandising.

Anton, clearly not what I'm referring to.  I'm suggesting maybe giving someone else an opportunity as leader of the same streets I'm standing here speaking to you on right now.  Obviously I'm in no position to dictate terms or insist you step down, nor would I even if I was in such a position.  It was meant as nothing more than food for thought to perhaps allow for someone else to have an opportunity.  Your reign as leader of the streets appears to be more of a dictatorship than inclusive (not my words, but literally everybody else's.  I personally disagree but that's besides the point).  Even the President of the United States can't hold office for longer than two terms.

Then again we are the mafia, not the government so maybe my suggestion is flawed.

Rubberlips - couple of things.  First of all, "clearly not what I'm referring to" - maybe you could be a bit clearer about what you are referring to?  You're all over the place.

I am well aware of the aggressive nature of your tone.  Whilst it isn't overtly, or covertly, aggressive, and is actually quite polite, I still know it's aggressive.

I demand of people to bring me solutions, rather than problems.  You just bring me problems, and problematise the solutions.

City Hall dictates that I can't actually ban you from the Streets, so I am not, and I am clear about this, banning you from the Streets.  But I will solemnly warn you, that if you don't apologise, and quickly, I will ensure that not a single person talks to you, or listens to you, on the Streets for an indefinite period of time.  I'll have you sent to Coventry, and as some of the British members of our society know, that is really fucking bad.

Fine.  I apologize, but only as a gesture of respect to these streets, not because necessarily I feel I have said anything wrong.  But I live by a mafioso's code and respect these streets and it's chain of command.

Anyways, understand I'm an RHM of a mafia crew and have to save some face here so don't expect any blubbering from me.  Be that as it may, please do accept my apology.  My intent was not to offend, merely to offer suggestions that might be agreeable to everyone that has expressed their discontent  It was an attempt at being diplomatic, not disrespectful.  For the record, I feel as though you are as good a leader as these streets could hope to have.  Of course if someone else comes along and takes the throne or you decide you'd like to step down, I'll most likely show the new leader of the streets the same respect. Until that time though, salut.  Sorry for the misunderstanding.  You can expect my accountant to reach out to yours so that the appropriate amends can be made.

Rubberlips - thank you.  It is the mark of a good man when he is able to admit his wrongs in public and learn from them (TAKE NOTE FRANKCASTLE).

I don't think that we need to take this any further, and you are free to operate much as you were before, only with lessons learned.

And here's the thing, Rubberlips - can you think of any other Leader of the Streets that would be able to handle your outburst as effectively and efficiently?
