On Saturday, August 29th starting at 14:00 lasting until Sunday, August 30th at 14:00, we will be doing an event that contains 12 separate individual rounds.  Each round is its own thing, there are no "whole day" prizes, its all based on your performance for an individual round.  So feel free to play 1 round, 2, 5, or all 12 if you got the energy for it :P

Hows it work?

The bot will be selecting a pool of hitters from a group of people who have had a few day recent history of being active in #main, as well as being currently active at the time and giving them the authorization to shoot at the rogue/ette for that particular shot.  If you are not in the prize pool, your shots will not be accepted.

What this means is that the more active you are, the more hitter pools you will be in, increasing your chances of a success.  (There is a limit, someone who is active 2 hours a day has an advantage over someone who is active 3 minutes a day, but there is very little difference after that point).

Hows the prizes work?

Get the normal +1 for each successful kill  (This is given live)

Get an additional +1 hustle point for each successful Roguette. (This is given within 48 hours after the event)

Get an additional +5 hustle points for whomever gets the 2nd kill in a round. (This is given within 48 hours after the event)

Get an additional +5 hustle points for whomever gets the 6th kill in a round. (This is given within 48 hours after the event)

Get an additional +5 hustle points for whomever gets the 11th kill in a round. (This is given within 48 hours after the event)

Get an additional +5 hustle points for whomever gets the 16th kill in a round. (This is given within 48 hours after the event)

Get an additional +5 hustle points for whomever gets the 21st kill in a round. (This is given within 48 hours after the event)

Get an additional +5 hustle points for whomever gets the 26th kill in a round. (This is given within 48 hours after the event)

Get an additional +5 hustle points for whomever gets the 31st kill in a round. (This is given within 48 hours after the event)

Get an additional +5 hustle points for whomever gets the 36th kill in a round. (This is given within 48 hours after the event)

The Good:

This is just for some fun +1s, please don't take it or yourselves too seriously.  If this turns into an angry event filled with karens, then this will be the last of this event.  My hope is that we can do this, learn some new ways to improve it, and after a few times running it have a smooth well oiled machine that we can toggle on and off for random days throughout the year for a fun competition.

The Bad:

There will be lots of blocked shots.

There will be some growing pains as we test some new cheat detection.  This may cause some rogue spawns to not happen, or to break.  Please be patient.

I am fully aware that we are all at the mercy of the RNG picking who is eligible to take shots, this means that sometimes it may screw you, sometimes it will benefit you... but it screws/benefits everyone equally.

Going too fast too often will result in a temporary lower chance of being added to the hit pool.

Wacking too often when there is no rogue/tte alive will result in a temporary lower chance of being added to the hit pool.

Complaining that the RNG is not benefiting you more than the others will result in your name being toggled out of the eligible hit pool.

Complaining that others are being competitive like yourself will result in your name being toggled out of the eligible hit pool.

The Small Details:

Winners will be anonymous.  There will not be any published list of who won what at the end.  You will receive a personal or mail with the summary approximately 2 days after the event ends.
