Loyalty, more than a drop menu Started by: Mr_J- on Aug 26, '20 03:19

Thinking about this more recently.

Obviously the choice to choose your lvl of loyalty is a good option. Why don't we incorporate a system that individually, members can see their own percentage but, can be seen by CL's as an overall percentage?

Loyalty increases when members or associates that have selected the option to be loyal when they are more active, do more petties/felonies, drug deals, jail breaks etc. And decreases when they don't.

Undecided members that fall into inactivity won't count towards the percentage.

I want more idea's with this.

Overall objective is to add to the boost a CL might get with loyal members. And maybe a way to see who isn't entirely cut out for being a CL.

Either you're members are willing to die for you, or they aren't. Let's put it to the test.

There is perhaps a nugget of an idea within this that could be turned into something good.

As things stand, a CL doesn't know whether his crew crew members are loyal or disloyal. There are a few circumstances within the game that may give you an idea of this, such as missing a Durden upper structure that your gun stats suggest you should have hit, but otherwise the only person who truly knows is the member. And for the most part that's the way it should stay. If someone within your organisation is against you, you wouldn't necessarily know. Sure if someone is actively leaking secrets, helping locate targets for a rogue or providing pro shots that can be sussed out, but if someone is merely refusing to help defend the HQ, or leaving secure doors unlocked its harder to prove, and those are the kind of thing the loyalty stat represents.

My main worry is that if you tie loyalty into activity, then you will marginalise players who can't commit serious hours to the game. We all know people here who perhaps only play an hour of two a day, good decent people who have lives away from the computer screen. However, what CL would want people like that in their crew if they are getting bigger pluses from those of us that put in 40 hr plus weeks on here? These people will find it harder and harder to find a family, and will eventually leave the game altogether, and that is something that I wouldn't be comfortable with.

Well they could set activity as the lowest contributer. Duggee
