Selena beamed at the growing crowd outside her shiny new HQ, It had already been a rollercoaster day, She needed a stiff drink and a sit down to compose herself. She brushed her hair from her face took a deep breath and began to speak.

Good afternoon everybody let me welcome you all to my brand spanking new HQ. The magnificent Curtis granted my request to set up under him here in Seattle and let me tell you, I couldn't be happier. This is a big big deal for me and I am so excited to see where this goes. I'd of coarse like to thank everyone at Colony who has been exceptional with me...even Jono nevermind that part actually. I am committed to helping Seattle grow and will now be selectively recruiting. It's just a wee HQ but there is absolutely no reason It shouldn't be filled with the best this country has to offer.

Please don't be shy reach out and I'll be here to help, regardless of experience am only looking for hardworking people who want to go places. It's all about the good vibes here at Capsized HQ. So with that being said I a bit of work to do today that'll keep me busy, but if you're in Seattle stop by say hi! I have strawberry ice cream!

Lastly, The whole community not just Seattle has been nothing short of extraordinary from day one with me and trust me it's very much appreciated I want to thank each and every one of you for being fabulous.

With that final statement, Selena turned on her heel and entered the new HQ. She had one hell of a day ahead of her...where the heck that coffee machine.

I had a feeling this was coming.  Since arriving on these shores, you've stepped up and become a community leader by leading by example. Any new blood to these cities should look to you as an example of how to go from being a relatively unknown to making your own mark, and now, leading your own family.  I think your future is very bright and I will enjoy watching you grow. Congrats, Selena!

Walks out again after meeting up one superbly human being that really deserves this.

The young lad just arriving to busy and booming streets of Pioneer Square. He walks over to a small gathering where he notices a celebration taking place. He rushes over to join the party as he still very brand new and learning the way of life. He sees a young woman standing infront of a new building that has obviously been just built. He makes his way to the front to hear what she has to say. After listening to her speech the young boy grabs Selena's attention. 

Ms.Selena, I know you are very busy woman and even more so now.  I just want to say congratulations on your position and fancy new HQ. I know you will be a fine addition to Seattle with a bright future ahead of you. 

The young boy smiles and waves good bye to the newly appointed crewleader. He continues walking down the road looking for a spot to grab food and a drink before making his way back to Chicago.

Long overdue

Tad was sitting at his desk when his secretary cracked open his office door...

"Well? What is it?" He inquired.

She sighed, "One of your guards needs to talk to you she said as she opened the door further and let the man in."

"I thought I said I was not to be bothered in my office unless my life was in danger?" He took off his glasses and rubbed his forehead. 

The guard took his hat off and nervously held it in his hands, "Sorry boss, but I thought you should know that there was a new crew authorized to set up in Seattle."

Tad walked over and picked up a bottle of whiskey to carefully pour himself a glass before speaking, "Why would that concern me? My work is based here in DT as well as where my mind is focused."

"I...I just thought." He struggled to get the words out as Tad sipped on his whiskey, "Well, I thought you'd like to know since it was Selena. The one that has been impressing you with their activities in the streets." 

Tad tapped his finger on the glass, "Well, you thought correctly this time. I suppose it was worth the interruption. I'll be writing something that I'll need you to send off to Selena in Seattle. Go back to your station. My secretary will come give you the letter in a short while."

With that his guard left the office and Tad went to sit back at his desk. He opened the top drawer on the right and pulled out a clean piece of paper and his favorite pen to begin writing a letter...

Dear Selena,

It brought a smile to my face to hear that you have been given the nod to set up your own operations in Seattle. Congratulations on that. Whether it be a small operation or a large one, I am sure you will make the best of it. You seem to take every challenge or goal that appears for you and absolutely crush it. I am sure that you will do that as always with this opportunity. 

I know that leadership brings many duties and time consuming tasks, but I do hope to continue seeing you as a strong presence on these streets. It has been and is still in need of people of your ability. Again, congratulations on your auth and please always feel free to reach out if you find yourself in Detroit. I will happily buy you a drink at my bar in Corktown and talk your ear off.

Tad folded the letter and slid it into a fresh envelope. He then melted some wax and used it to help seal it for its trip over to Seattle. The drawer made a quiet thud as it slid closed with his favorite pen back in its place. He made his way over to the door and poked his head out....

"Yes sir?" His secretary asked. 

"Go give this letter to that knucklehead out in the hallway. I already told him that he would be heading out to mail it for me." He handed the envelope over to her and she nodded.
