GAME CHANGE: New Loyalty Option, Take A Bullet Improved Started by: Squishy on Sep 01, '20 04:47

I have added a few new options to the Loyalty Feature.

The loyalty feature is found under the Manage Menu - then Profile.  It allows you to select the size of the bonuses (Mostly defense, a little wack) that your CL/RHM gets from you being in their crew.  No one will ever know your loyalty settings, no one can see it besides you.

There has been a quick few changes to Take A Bullet.

  • The requirements for a member to take a bullet has been loosened a bit so that it can happen more often.
  • The take a bullet feature now works not just for the CL, but has a chance of happening for the RHM (At a 50% reduced rate than the CL) and finally a chance of happening for the LHM (at a 75% reduced rate than the CL)
  • The take a bullet feature now accounts for wackback deaths, NPC/Tyler shots.
  • The bot will announce a message when someone takes a bullet in the crew chat, as well as a unique personal to all parties involved.
  • The hand being shot at does not get protection from the wack if the member takes ALL of the damage with no wrap-around damage going to the original target.  If there is any wrap around damage, then the original target will get protection.
  • We have improved the 'identify if its a pro shot' code, factoring in loyalty.  If the shooter shoots at their own CL/RHM/LHM and has an impressively underwhelming gun in relation to the gun required for the shot and is set to some stage of loyal, it will view it as an intentional pro shot, and will not trigger the take a bullet code.

Here is the rundown

1) Undecided - This is the default. It means that you don't really lean too hard one way or another.  You retain all the bonuses for yourself. 

2) Loyal - Apply Full Bonus To CL/RHM.  This means you are a big fan of your Uppers and you want to assign all of your loyalty points to them, keeping none for yourself.  Extra bonuses are added the higher rank you are and longer you have been active with the crew.

3) Loyal - Split Bonus With CL/RHM & Self.  This means you are a fan of your CL/RHM and are willing to split your loyalty points with them and yourself.  Extra bonuses are added the higher rank you are and longer you have been active with the crew.

4) Loyal - Take A Bullet.  This means you are a huge fan of all 3 of your uppers and you want to assign all of your loyalty points to the CL/RHM, keeping none for yourself, and also, if the situation ever arises, your account may jump in front of an attack on your CL/RHM/LHM to take the hit with the hopes of keeping your CL and RHM alive by sacrificing your own life. (Their BGs do not factor into your health, yours only do to theirs)

5) Disloyal - Get Extra Protection Against Own Family. This means you are always on constant high alert while around your own family.  You retain all of the bonuses for yourself, plus additional defense bonuses should your own family ever attack you.

Here are a few tidbits to discourage gaming the system:

  • The higher the rank, the more weight things carry. (Makes it difficult to sabotage without real effort put in)
  • The longer you have been active with the family, the more it ramps up to its full 100%.  (Some new high ranker doesn't just give 100% of the points if they are all of 3 minutes active in the family, loyal or disloyal) (Makes it difficult to sabotage without real effort put in)
  • The longer you have been active with the family, the slower it ramps down when dropped/demoted. (Dropping/transferring/demoting a member to shoot them doesn't instantly erase the disloyal bonus, it ramps down with time)
  • Inactive accounts ramp down to 0%.
