| Not where, but WHEN would you rather be? | Started by: PureBloodedTexanJr on Sep 12, '20 06:48 |
| If you were capable of going to any time period to live, when and where would it be? | |

As an actual student and teacher of history, I don't think there is time I don't want to go to. If I had to pick right now, I would say 1540-1541 Rome Italy, so that I could be one of the first to see Michelangelo's "The Last Judgement". |

Interesting. I'd like to go forward a couple of thousand of years and see what state the planet is in and how or if we've evolved as humans. |

1300, Scotland. Seeing/meeting William Wallace, Robert the Bruce and the black Douglas, fighting in the wars of independence, taking revenge for the theft of the Stone of Scone, and watching the signing of the Declaration of Arbroath? Count me fuckin in! |

| I think now is the time to be alive, humanity is really at the precipice and future generations we look back us regarding we handled issues (ie. climate change, nuclear weapons, etc). If I could, I’d go back a few years to span more time with friends and family that aren't here. | |

| I am with you Sal, I think I would go back about 15 years and spend as much time as possible with friends lost in Iraq. I would also re-enlist instead of getting out. | |

I would go to 2500 to try future tech. Hopefully we haven't gone extinct by then. |

1996. As miserable as I was in high school, knowing what I know now... there's more than a few things I'd do over... |

No better time than the present. Technological advancements makes it so that this is the best time to live. Better medecine, access to more information, more equality than before, etc. |
