The Cobblers come to Ballard Started by: SammyNoShoes on Sep 12, '20 08:15
Growing up with nothing, literally with no shoes on his feet and rags for clothes he had soon picked up the nickname that stuck with him throughout his life. As a teen he had fallen out of schooling and started odd jobs on the streets to make ends meet. He soon worked out a nice scam with a couple of friends. Shining shoes on the streets he'd see who was carrying cash when they paid and signal down the street to a friend to follow the unsuspecting victim and pickpocket them.

While it worked for a few years Sammy decided to up his game and started to deal some drugs here and there. Getting some cash together he opened a Cobblers which would work as a nice front to move small quantities of drugs that could be slipped into the heels of shoes. The toolkit also doubled as a handy weapon kit, in particular he had become renowned for being vicious with an Awl.

Anyone that crossed him was held down and the Awl inserted into the victims ear. They talked or it got inserted further. This continued until the obvious 1 of 2 things happened. Talk or a slow painful death with the Awl piercing through the ear to the brain.

Now he was given the opportunity to reign in the streets of Ballard having learned his trade under Alan and The Cobblers were established.

a-fake-soprano was strolling around the streets trying to find something to eat but he managed to come across something much better. None other than SammyNoShoes was holding a speech. Never had he seen someones feet look so marvelous, probably why he never wore any shoes.

What was he thinking, this was no time to look at those feet. Feet, feet!

"Step out of it" a-fake-soprano thought to himself. You're here for another thing

"Sammy, I've come to congratulate you on this great feat of yours. I hope this road ends well for you. I'd love to come to the feast later."

Having said that he finally ended and went back to find something to eat.
