No one had noticed the diminutive Ferengi going slowly insane, perhaps it was something in 5he water, perhaps it was something in the air, perhaps it was the stress he was feeling from the insanity of the Gods, but regardless the last straw had been found, and a mind had snapped. Then again, they always say there is a fone line between genius and insanity. But to top it all off, SammyNoShoes had decided to go and give him a district of his own. Sure, mollycoddle him and protect him when his genius was intact, but now that clarity had  been replaced with insanity you put him in charge of a whole city district.

Congratulations Mr. Zek on your new appointment. It will be interesting to watch Seattle grow again following tumultuous times. 

As an aspiring reporter, I want to take the opportunity to enquire as to your objectives as Crew Leader? It is difficult to ignore your current choice of attire, which could easily be interpreted as a challenge to the recent announcement by City Hall on community toxicity. How should your potential future members feel about this?

Pablo Ryman sat down on a wall and looked at a book he had acquired "History Of The Great Families."  He found a reference about the unluckiest family lines, the ones who find themselves in power and then find themselves dead relatively soon thereafter, thinking

Mercy_Fiorentino, people will see what they want to see. My attire is not a challenge to cityhall, in fact i bought my HQ from the council, reusing a disused public building that was slowly rotting away. No my attire is for two purposes, firstly i am unasshamedly and completely bat shit crazy. I'd have to be to do this all again, to shoulder the burden for others lives and happiness, to absorb the slingshots and arrows from my detractors and those who no nothing about me but choose to tar me with unfounded accusations and recriminations, which also seagues into my third point. For many generations my family has tried to serve this community, we have made suggestions to cityhall for the betterment of all, many having been enacted, my family was the first to allow associates to leave freely and join another crew if they so wished without harm or fould, a full 5 years before anyone else. My family always offers support to new and fledgling mobsters, my family supports and cherishes its members, yet still people come out here and call me baby killer, purger and a toxic influence. Me, a man whos family has done so much and asked nothing in return, me a man who can count all the dead attributed to all his kin on both hands and feet. People send me secretive credits and call me a nobody, a patsy, a sheep, a cattle leader, all unwarrented, for no one died, no one was purged, no one was sacrificed under my families leadership. And there is a reason for this, a reason that until lately has kept us coming back generation after generation, year after year, and that reason is i don't seek power, I seek community. I may be crazy, i may be toxic, but it is you out there, in the shadows, plotting and schemeing that has made me this way.

Would you agree it's reasonable to assume from an unknowing outsider perspective that it appears you are baiting City Hall?

And there's no concern from you that this talk of "Gods insanity" might incur their wrath? These are the questions I expect would be asked by an aspiring mobster to our streets, who would no doubt be also considering the longevity of the crew leader they work for, for the sake of their own personal protection. 

Mercy_Fiorentino I am who I am, and I'd like to think that cityhall would know that if i had a problem with them I'd talk to them directly. I have done before, I'm sure Squishy has the logs from many a converstaion i have had with him over how Cityhall chooses to regulate this life and punish people. And before anyone directs you to me, saying i should show the logs, I'll state quite clearly that i have no such logs, I am not paranoid, i have no need to record every word I utter to rip someone to shreads a week from now, a month from now or 5 years from now. 

I have no doubt that there are peoe even now pouring poisonous words about me into the ears of anyone at cityhall that will listen, but I'll say this, if cityhall has an issue with how i'm dressed, or believes this is an attack on them, then come and speak to me like a rational human being, and we'll resolve the impasse through diplomacy and conversation 

Far to often people go for their gun first, and don't think to use their brain instead, I'm sure that Squishy, being the rational and levelheaded leader of Cityhall that he is would not fall into that camp. 

I'm approachable, and in the past when Cityhall has any complaints about somethingbthat my family has said or done or is alledged to have said or done, we have sat down, discussed the issue and resolved it accordingly.

At the end of the day I can't promise that i will protect my members, all I can do is promise that I will at least try, and thats a better promise than most will offer you these days. Whether its Cityhall, a fellow CL, Tyler Durden or a rogue, my life will end, and in that instance I will no longer be able to protect my members, but I hope to have imparted to them the skills required to protect themselves. 

I for one welcome the addition of this loveable alien with the cutest laugh.
