| A Tale of Two (or more) Cities. | Started by: Jerusalem on Apr 28, '11 23:07 |

I realize that this is, to use a colloquialism, jumping the gun as any true discussion of cities and the adding therein of must wait until the playerbase expands to unforeseen heights, but I wanted to get the discussion started. To chum the waters, if you will. |

There's no real need for expansion. Two cities remain empty and some of the other cities are no where near being full. While the idea is good, its just not needed at this time. |

Well I want to point out that I did preface this by saying "I know we don't have the userbase right now, BUT..." because I mainly wanted to get the discussion started, not say OMG WE NEED TO EXPAND NAO OMG OMG OMG. |

What you say here Jerusalem brings up a thought......why are the current cities all basically the same. Sure right now we don't need more cities but why not fix up the current ones. Instead of the only differences being like you said the crime payouts there should be a lot more. For example difference crimes, maybe different drugs, the jails in each city could be named after real jails that existed in those areas, little stuff like that that wouldn't be i think a major coding problem but would make the game a lot more interesting by making it more realistic to the cities we have. It would all essentially be the same as it is now just stuff with different names. But this is just a thought :) |

Jerusalem, i personally agree with your idea. Small changes such as those would make the game more interesting and entertaining, crimes suiting to the city and its historical background would also provide an education into the cities in which we work.
Or is the fact that we have two cities open due to a lack of players with potential to lead? Just a thought. If not, i suspect it will be down to the fact a city is stronger when it has more crews in it, rather then spread across two or three? I dont believe then that the are leaders keeping them open out of spite as this could prove to be bad for bussiness.
All the same, your idea is a good one, and i would personally like to see it come about. |
