| A Moment Of Silence | Started by: Angel_in_Red on Apr 29, '11 02:36 |

I would like to ask anyone who will to have a moment of silence for the 290+ people that have perished in the 4 US states ravaged by tornadoes the past 2 days. The US media seems to be more interested in the NFL draft and the Royal wedding, and not spending the time that should be spent on covering the events that have taken place recently. Thank you for taking the time to pay your respects. |

Of course, I have looked on yahoo, and msn and on both of those sites, you have to scroll halfway down just to see a mention of the loss of life that has happened these last couple of days. |

Now would you be saying that if the areas affected included areas that your family and friends lived in?? I don't think so. |

Actually I do have a friend that lives near there. Yes lives were lost, the communities were destroyed. Just need to do what we can to move on. If you haven't notcied society was putting the wedding of Englands prince first before a horrific event that occured the day before. |
