Those of you have known my bloodline for several generations know that my bloodline has always held very traditional ideas of what  this thing of ours is.  If you go back and trace the speeches from my bloodline about this thing of ours you will see that what is said in my speeches is the truth of what this thing of ours is.  Let me make it clear when I say this thing of ours I mean just that this thing of ours, not the game. The things I get mad about the most are the very core ideas of this thing of ours that you people have been disrespecting for a couple of years now.  Ask yourself why that maybe?   You can not pick and choose which one you honor you have to honor all of the laws of this thing of ours. Why would someone get so upset at the blatant disregard you have been having towards this thing of ours.  You only follow the core traditions and laws as you see fit.  Ask yourself why that maybe?

What you  have done is make a mockery of this thing of ours. All in the name of this is a game. 

I know this is game and this is war game. Trust me  I am totally aware of that. I play wars games, several actually. 

You can play this game with the core values of this thing of ours, you people just refuse to.  You don't even practice Omerta correctly. 

If you have taken this personally then it is about you and you area disgrace to this thing of ours. 

If you haven't taken any offense to this then we have got work to do.

I would have to agree, there are certainly some people I would never care to see at the top, they have ruined the games for me several times, some day "They" will be the only ones spending time on the game 

What is happening behind the scenes  is the dismantling of the core values of this thing of ours. 

There it is again older players, you know they don't own this game and it is not their place to control peoples play all in the name of friendships behind the keyboard. 

Second these people who claim older players have their place secure is technically saying oh we won game over  while also having some arrogance in them to think they are entitled to their position.

No one is entitled in this thing of ours and bloodline does not necessarily guarantee you a spot at the table.  

You end up  with what we have here  all most the whole  year,"only my friends and those on the approved list don't  get rounded up on the trains and sent the death camps. "  That is not playing Mafia that is playing who can copy Hitler the best . 

While i don't disagree that having the same people at the top gets stale, I would like to point out that regimes have been toppled before by a dedicated few. You can always be the change you want to see..and to me THAT is when this thing of ours is its most fun.

That is not the point of my original post and I  kindly  ask you people to start reading posts to actually make a response to what is being said. Instead of just to respond. 

It has nothing to the older player or the regimes. this has been happening for at least the last couple of years now. 

No matter the regime, the city and the family should come first otherwise you are not playing Mafia.  

After last nights events, I can only hope there is a positive change in the game, We are all stressed in real life and this game or "this thing of ours" is a great escape from the bullshit we are all dealing with. 

So cut each other some slack, make new friends and be kind!

This game is open and people define it, each and every one of us defines how game will be. Each action taken by each member of community defines the game. So its all up to us how we set standards and how we set set groundrules. Lately many different reigns held power but it seems that it all comes to same actions and one of definitions of insanity is doing same actions over and over again but expecting different results.

I see the point that HQuinn is trying to make, Though alot of times its a group of friends that scramble to the top and once they are on top it can become very hard to remove them more so if you are killed every month or so over and over. When i have been a CL i used to try and promote the entire family first aspect sadly that fell away of late as my desire to play fell away. What people dont see is the oppressive regimes suck the life out of the site and with that the fun. Will this regime bring change? Only they can answer that as we know the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Mafia is in Mafia and since were all gangsta were in mafia all our life in here, thats for sure, load your guns and have fun in Mafia.

I agree that some things in the old days were better however when we are talking about people there often people here don't try to ruin the game for other people that's not a part of the mafia they're just shitty people

since the dawn of this game we had deaths that made no sense. People that get power hungry and people that think everyone is out to overthrow them. The main problem with today is you have people that try to not PLAY the game but attempted to make it theirs and theirs alone to rule. I miss the old days. I miss the real mafia type play. But life goes on.
