Betty steps up to the podium once again, megaphone in hand. Today had been a very busy day for her, and she was excited to share the news.

Ladies & Gentleman...and the Panda too. It is my pleasure to announce the grand opening of the Los Angeles Poker Group!  We here in Los Angeles have noticed the serious lack of Texas Hold Em poker games lately, and we want to help you fill that void! 

We will be hosting poker games daily at the PokerStars headquarters. There is no cover charge for going to PokerStars, though you may be required to take on some information so you can play. (ooc: there is a download, but PokerStars is 100% free).

There will be one weekly tournament, the winner gaining entry into the larger monthy tournaments. The prizes for the monthly tournaments are spectacular!! We offer more than just cash money!!  All of these games will be conducted by either myself of by Grool.  You can contact either one us via mobmail in regards to the games that are going on, or you can join us in the coffeeshops in the shop named #lapg. 

 We will start these games in the very near future! In fact, as soon as we have 5-6 players on a table, we will start a game. Now just so it's very clear, we will be taking a small 20% fee of the pot off the top in order to pay our dealers.  Them boys have to eat too, you know. So much for that announcement. I have a horrible cough since moving to Los Angeles. It's so much more dry here. My apologizes. That is to say the Los Angeles Poker Group.

Los Angeles stepping out once again I have been looking for somewhere to sit down and play some Texas hold em for sometime now. What’s even better about this is I get to take everyone’s money without having to go in their smelly pockets.

I think i will spend more days in Los Angeles then i thought.
