Guiseppe steps out of the casino after another day of gambling, he straightens his suit and begins to speak

I am sure as a lot of you have already noticed that Detroit has a Casino once more and to celebrate this we thought we would run some competitions. Some will be Casino related a couple won't be.

Slamming Slots

The first competition is real easy, the first person to hit the jackpot wins $5,000,000 on top of their win. Evidence will be needed in a screenshot to me.

I hope that has wetted your appetite for some gambling fun as there is more.

Breaking BlackJack

Another simple one, 21, 21 times that's right the first person to get 21 with 2 cards 21 times wins, another $5,000,000 up for grabs. Once again evidence in screenshots to me.

The winning doesn't stop there.

Gambling Genius

Are you able to take the Casino to the cleaners, the person who takes the most money out of the Casino in a 48hour period will have their winnings matched. So you win $10,000,000 we will give you $10,000,000.

Do we have more I hear you ask? Your damn right we do.

The house always wins

The person who loses the most money will have their money reimbursed plus on top of that a thank you gesture of $2,000,000.

So what if you are not interested in gambling; maybe we can tempt you with a pickpocket competition in Detroit

Pickpocket Party

That's right for 48 hours we will host a Pickpocket competition. There is an entrance fee of $250,000, a prize for the top 3 as follows
1st $2,500,000
2nd $1,000,000
3rd $500,000.

The rules are simple 2 points for a success 1 point for a fail. These have to be done in Detroit and a statement sent to me with the Subject PP comp. Entrance fee is payable to myself. All fee's are refundable in the event of competition ending early. If the event is completed winnings will be paid out even if it is by a kin of mine. Once you have sent me the money say it here so people know who they are up against.

And finally something for you creative types

Detroit Drabble
That's right we're following the lead of the Gods 100 words on Detroit and the Mafia. Unfortunately not everyone will get a prize. The winner will get $1,000,000 which will be judged by the leaders of Detroit. This competition will be open for 48 hours and a cafe will be opened in Detroit for you to gather and tell your tales.

All these competitions run from Wednesday 11th May 00:01, those with a time limit will end Friday 13th May 00:00. For the other competitions they are ongoing until we have a winner.

We look forward to seeing you all in Detroit.

Betty smiles as Guissupie makes his announcement

Well kudos to Detroit! This shall prove to be alot of fun, and right in the middle of the boring week too!! Way to provide something for us to do. Thank you for organizing this and you can bet you'll see me in Detroit this week Betty nods and heads off

Guiseppe, my apologies for the mispronunciation. It seems my bloodline has been Stateside for too long and have lost the pronunciation skills of the Old Country.

Report Post Tip

doogle smile as he hears Guiseppe announce the events...

I look forward to seeing people fill the casino and streets in hope of striking it big!

Report Post Tip

'Bama hears someone mention gambling and pickpocketing and stops to listen

Well now. Two of my favourite pass times combined? I'd be mad not to try my hat. You can be sure my accountant will be along shortly with my entry fee. I look forward to wrestling with the countries top PickPocketrs once again

Alabama wanders off again mumbling something about showing Vector a and Aizlynn a challenge this time

Noticing his friend making an announcement, Kurtz wandered over to see what Guiseppe had to say. He listened, his eyes widening with each new competition announced.

My my Guiseppe, that's quite the festival of gambling and theft you guys are putting on there! Most impressive and some seriously generous prizes, it has to be said. When it comes to casinos I'm usually pretty busy with all the ones in Vegas but with this kind of party, I think I might just have to slide over to Detroit and get a taste of the action. More power to you guys for putting something like this together, I wish you all the best with it.

Wandering over to his friend, he slid a white envelope into Guiseppe's jacket and gave him a nod before heading back into the crowd.

the casino ones look like fun :)

Report Post Tip

I am looking forward to taking money from Detroit's casino Guiseppe.

Benton always wondered where Guiseppe got his prodigious collection of Beastiality magizines, but having seen Kurtz slip the folded white A4 envelope into his jacket pocket, there was a fairly good chance that this particular mystery was solved. Still, some proof would be needed and what a better oppertunity than a Pick Pocketing contest. Benton reached into his back pocket and pulls out $250k.

I see Vegas truely is the city of sin my friend, you can get anything you want if you have enough money. However, enough of Vegas, its time for Detroit to shine once again. Here is my entry fee. I'm looking forward to dipping my hand into as many pockets as the Great Judge Death did before his untimely demise. Of course if you need my assistance in running the competitions just let me know my friend.

Having been stalking Alabama along the sidewalk unoticed for some distance I'm surprised when she suddenly stops dead in the path and starts listening in on the well suited gentleman speaking to anyone caring to cast their ears his way. I subtly stop and lean myself against a shop front and pretend to adjust my tie so as not to arouse suspicion from 'bama.

Listening in my eyes start to fill with $$$ symbols hearing the varied ways in which we're being encouraged to steal and gamble, not to mention the lure if some very generous prizes to boot.

Waits for Guiseppe to finish his public address before walking to him and sliding an envelope to his pocket

That should cover my contest entry my friend, I'm thoroughly looking forward to the fun 48hrs to commence.

Guiseppe shoots a look over to Benton

Whatever happened to 'What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas' anyway that is a completely different subject.

We are glad we can entertain you over the next 48 hours. Just to let you all know only 3 people have entered the pp comp. If I was a gambling man which I am not I would fancy my chances with so few people involved.

Report Post Tip

Consider me added to the PP competition. My accountant should have already come and gone.

Report Post Tip

Overhearing something about pickpocketing Aizlynn's ears perked and she made her way through the crowd. She flashes a smile at Mrs. Worley as the beautiful woman passed her.

Pickpocketing competition you say? I think I can make arrangements to spend a couple days in the fine city of Detroit for this..

She pulls out a pocketbook a skims through it

Yes, yes. I will definitely be able to be there! I look forward to spending time in some old pockets, and maybe find a few new favorites.. as well as competing against the other well known pickpocketers, should be a grand time!

Report Post Tip

MrV walks out constantly checking his watch, 'Damn 48 hours of gambling none stop! I think Six might kill me but what the hell, its all good fun!'

Guiseppe, to be honest, im really fucking impressed with the show your putting on here in Detroit. So much to do, so much to be won, or lost if you suck like EvilClown. Its great to see all the hard work and effort being put into an event such as this

Anyway, no time to talk, I need to raid Six's purse! Good luck to all and thanks to The Motor City for putting on what will be a fantastic event im sure.

Report Post Tip

Smiles at her friend Guiseppe, and hands over the dough

Add another name to the PP comp ;)

Report Post Tip

All competitions are now open, you can still join the Pickpocketing competition just see my accountant and pickpocket away. Good luck to everyone taking part in all the competitions.

Report Post Tip

this one is great :)

Report Post Tip

Blackjack has been broken is double quick time so that competition is now over, but all others are still open and late comers are welcome to join the Pickpocket Party happening now in Detroit.

Guiseppe gives a message to his accountant who wires the money out of of his account

Your accountant makes note that $5,000,000 has been wired to Bonasera from your account.

Congratulations

Report Post Tip

Calling the airport he booked his ticket to Detroit.. knowing damn well he intended to hit the casino and possibly participate in the other activities

I know I personally enjoy and appreciate the effort put on here, as it is far too easy to do nothing of sorts and keep all the cash yourself.

The city seems so bright and lit up compared to the last time I was here, the streets filling with mobsters and if you guys were lucky and had the weather we have in Las Vegas, I would say I would buy a spot up here and throw up a vacation home.. but its cold as hell right now so ill stick to the casino!!

Jimmy steps foot in Detroit.. motions to the guards to get his cash from the plane as he was on his way to take down the Gambling Genius comp or more..or maybe just have a a few drinks and wander drunk down the street yelling with his gun, he wasnt sure yet only time would tell

Report Post Tip

Sorry for enetring the contest late....just a bit busy at the headquarters.  But I believe my accountant had a date with yours :)
