Don't we all choose the pieces that fit our own agenda. I mean really everyone has an agenda, if you say you do not then you either are lying, have not set goals ever in your life or in this thing of ours.

My bloodline's agenda has always been to question everything, anyone who has taken  time to even remotely get to know me knows this. 

This questioning is playing devil's advocate  a lot of times taking up subjects to discuss that make people uncomfortable. Growth does not happen when you have the easy discussions.  Ideas can not be developed when people use false fallacies to attack the questioner, simply because those in control are uncomfortable  when someone questions  the status quo. This is because questioning the status quo is what brings on healthy debate and growth either as a community or on the individual level.
