Dice Maiden Started by: Viper on Nov 10, '20 15:23
Viper had just left the dice house after losing two million dollars to the house. As he was walking down this busy street filled with various shops and restaurants he noticed a lonely building. The building wasnt large, but it was Vacant and for sale. With the last of his money he purchased the deed from the city. He had a vision of what he could make this place look like. The new club would be called Dice Maiden. He wondered what would set this place apart from the current Dice joint down the street. Like a lightbulb it just clicked in his head. At the Dice joint down the street you could go in after a hard days work and bet your money against the house and try to get rich, but it didn't offer much more then that. Although at Dice Maiden people would be able to come in and bet against other people and the house would still get its 10% cut.
After a few short months of dealing Cocaine and Heroin one the Chicago Streets, Viper finally had enough money to spruce the club up. First he installed a bar with all the latest wines and liquors directly in the middle of the club. Patrians would walk through the front doors and walk down a blue carpet, decorated carnations would be on either side of them as they neared the second double door where a bouncer would let them in. Once inside, the sound of jazz music could be heard throughout the building, the smell of fresh cut spring flowers and a dimly lit atmosphere. The wallpaper was black and the club had no windows, this way patrons couldnt tell if it was daylight or night. Walking straight ahead would lead them to the bar in the center of the room, where they could sit and sip on any beverage they desired for free as long as they were gambling. To the right was a dance floor which would get crowded mainly at night after the happy couples had a bit to drink. The dance floor had color coated footprints on it showing where foot placement was for young couples who didn't know how to dance yet. Red was for women and Blue was for men. On the left were five round tables with chairs all around. Dealers with caps and suits sat at the head of these tables. All five wore black caps that bore the name DiceMaidens on them. These Dice Maidens handled all the money for the house and made sure the house got their cut, they also only touched the Dice once to inspect them. Players could put a bet on the table, another player could accept the bet by putting his matching bet on the table. Both parties would roll the dice, and the winner would take all except the 10% house fee.

Now that everything was in order, Viper walked to the front door and flipped the open close sign to open. He walked back to the bar and called for a peach Brandy on the rocks. Only time would tell if his new club would be a success or a failure.
