| Seeing The Trees, Rather Than The Forest | Started by: Shedao on May 18, '11 06:13 |

His morning had started like any other: full breakfast, cup of coffee, read the newspaper, a review of the day's tasks. A couple of phone calls got his people working on the little business that had to be taken care of, and then his day was clear. Debating on his prospects, Shedao decided that it was about time for him to follow up on his pet project. He had gotten the structural plans, shift time tables, and personnel records for that bank his boss had wanted to hit and had been pouring over them to see if he could find an alternate means of entrance to the vault. Going through the front door might appeal to the less experienced members, but as his father always said, the best crime is the one never noticed. And the other night, he thought he had found his answer.
There was a janitorial service that was contracted by the bank to clean it's premises. The crew was often overlooked as the vault was locked and a guard was staioned outside it's door, so there wasn't too much trouble they could cause, right? Except that in one weeks time, the guard on duty would be Patrick. Patrick had a gambling problem and Shedao knew who was in control of Patrick's debt. It would be simple enough to purchase the debt and to get the guard to see how things were going to work. The other, significantly harder to acquire, component to the plan was a rather simple, unassuming substance. It was tightly regulated so getting his hands on some of it wasn't going to be easy, but Shedao knew a man.
One quick phone call later, and Shedao had a lunch meeting set up. |

The restaurant had a roof that sloped low off the building and created a sort of canopy around the whole building. LoveGun took solace in the shade it made. She'd been standing out in the hot sun all day at the race track. Horses, poop, loud men and the sun pounding down it's bright rays all day. To say the least, she was exhausted and hungry. |
