Anyone else have this game ? I have it on 360 which takes up 3 discs mostly due to the new motion scan tech involved in the game(one disc for PS3 users).
This could be game of the year, once I start playing theres no stopping, I dont play much games these days but L.A. Noire keeps me in front of the tv for atleast 1-2 hours at a time. Its the best mystery/problem solving game Ive ever played mixed with some good police chases and shoot outs. Its graphics are around the GTA stage untill you go into investigative mode then it seems to all change, due to the motion scanning tech. Lots of nudity for you pervs...and lots of blood for you other freaks. You work your way up the ranks and it never gets old. Rockstar has back to back homers with this following RDR.

No, the motion scanning technology was used to implement into the facial expressions of the characters on the game to help you identify if the person your interviewing/interrorgating is lying or not, its awesome. They basiclly scanned over 200 actors facial expressions.

This game is very addicting.

My main man Dash says he's slightly unwhelmed thus far, though something makes me think he's a bit picky and hard to please.

This game is great ,, very very addicting like a homeless on crack haahaha,,, I am on 2rd disc , about 7 hs played one night lol 45 % done

2nd disc is the funnest in my opinion, the 3rd disc you move to vice and its a bunch of suicide/homicide cases, nothing like on the 2nd disc but still very fun. I think Im going to play it all over again when Im finished just because its so fn addicting. Im on case 16 out of 21. Huge variety of cars for those of you who like to free rome, there has to be over 50. The map is huge aswell. Alot of it has to do with the Dahlia murders which is pretty sweet. They couldnt fit all the cases onto the game so much more should be coming soon as dlc!

This game does give you such a variety of different cases that keeps it exciting to play. I do say a job well for this game. Bravo :)

The ending kind of pissed me off, kind of followed a typical Rockstar ending just not to the heights of RDR but still very good game. DLC coming very soon! Next week we should be hearing from Rockstar about dlc, according to their facebook. I just wish they wouldve made it 4-5 discs(xbox 360) instead of having to wait on dlc.

I was given a shirt for it.... I probably will start playing it because I respect Rockstar, but what I really want is a Vice City remake.

So Ive been playing it 97,4% done ,, i did all 50 film and 40 city crimes,, but i have 5 more arson 5 stars to do now lol.. all 5 stars lobe this game

I've not played the game and quite frankly, I don't wish to. Rockstar has made too many sandbox games as it is. They began to fail after Vice City, so they throw it into the old west, riding horses, etc. (I HATED RDR) The last good game, imo, that Rockstar made was Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Reading reviews of L.A. Noire, I get The Godfather vibes all over again, except you're a police officer? Who the hell ever has fun as a cop? I mean, look at True Crime. Without the awesome cars, abilities and slow motion aiming, it would have been complete and utter shit. I just don't see how walking around, solving crimes could be fun. I'll give it the free roam aspect, but Rockstar has done that so many times, it's overplayed.
