Barb smiled innocently as she trailed her (apparently cold) fingers along his side, giggling and taking note as he flinched here and there. “I thinks I can make that happen,” she nodded. Her tone serious despite the teasing of her wandering touch. 

“So...” she trailed softly, “Yas thinkin’ two rooms ooor?” Her lips parted with a cheeky, suggestive smirk. 

“One might leave more room for boarders, y’know, if we’s thinkin’ realistically.” 

She definitely WASN’T thinking realistically. In fact, she hadn’t been thinking realistically since the day Kaya gave her her first job. But, that was a perk of the business. So long as you kept your head on straight, you didn’t have to think realistically. You could plan as big and as bougie as you wanted, so long as you kept to the code and didn’t get too big for your britches. 

Smiling, she snuggled down into the fluffy comforter and cuddled close. “Really, realistically we’s should prolly hit tha hay,” she paused with a chuckle, “Isn’t that how you colloquial types say it? ‘Hit tha hay’? I always wondered. Why hit it? Why not lay it? Or IN it? It rhymes and it makes far more sense.” Her accent dissolved for a moment as she mused before shaking her head with a perky bounce of her curls. “Oh well, goes ta bed. We’s should goes ta bed... soon at least, at any rate. Full day ahead, an’ all.” 

Nuzzling his chest, she sighed softly, “We’s definitely needs ta ‘position’ ourselves for tha best possible angle... on this con. And I hear sleep helps.” 

Sleep... That was definitely the -last- thing on his mind. However, she wasn't wrong. Nodding, he rolled toward her and kissed her softly. "Yeah, sleep helps a lot. As for tha hit tha hay? I really don't know where that one comes from." He shrugged softly, and then hugged her tightly before rolling onto his other side, his back facing her.

"Sleep well, doll. We're both gonna need it tomorrow." He knew he would DEFINITELY need it, and she would too if she decided to go with him for the con-job. Even if she DIDN'T go with him, then she would need to be at the new place, and picking up their new car, and taking care of Juniper all day... A full docket regardless of what the plan was...
