Its a cold night in New Orleans the streets were crowded with civilians and thugs going about business as usual while I stalk above them on The Gumbo shop's rooftop. I notice a arrogant thug trying to break into Nancy's Wake N' Bakery. Before gliding down to stop the criminal I notice a bright light in the sky I know all to well, The Bat Signal. I quickly made my way to the HQ's roof to see who had needed my assistance. It was a woman I quickly recognized to be NancyBotwin with a concerned look on her face.

"Whats the matter Nancy?"

"Bostons gone missing, He was supposed to meet up with some colombians to pick up a large quantity of cocaine."

"Let me guess, He didnt come home for dinner did he?"

"Not quite, they sent a messenger demanding 50 million if we dont want to see him fitted for cement shoes. The meet is in an hour at Warehouse 5 by the city docks."

"Fuckin' back stabbing colombians never can conduct buisness properly."

Batman paces back and forth on the roof contemplating his options, before coming to his conclusion.

"Well what are you gonna do Batman?"

"Only thing I can do, Kill those colombians and bring back our Leader in one piece."

"How do you plan on pulling all that off by yourself? They've got atleast thirty heavily armed men amped up on coke."

"I'm not. I'll be having a little help from the only other detective that could handle this situation."

"Who?"

"Rorschach."

MINUTES LATER...

As we quickly made our way to the rendezvous in the batmobile I informed Rorschach of the grave situation our Leader was in and disccused a plan of attack. Upon nearing the warehouse we ditched the batmobile and made our way on foot to attract less attention.

"Ok Rorschach just make sure you keep your cool in there we woudlnt want anything bad to happen to the boss."

"Don't worry about me just make sure you don't go too easy on these guys. We gotta make sure they pay for trying pull this shit on our family."

"Agreed, just try and keep up I don't want you slowing me down."

"Hurm..."

I grapple my way to the roof and enter the cooling vent while Rorschach enters through the front door. I stealthly make my way down the vent to the main room waiting on Rorschach's que. I suddenly hear gunfire break out before busting through the vent and drop down onto a catwalk. I spot Rorschach pinned down against cover and 8 dead colombians in the middle of the room. I quickly shoot and kill 5 men drawing attention away from Rorschach allowing him the chance to take out another 4. I jump down to assist Rorschach and together we make quick work of the remaining columbians. The room quickly enters a dull silence. We make our way to the only room with a light on inside and give each other a quick nod before Rorschach kicks it in allowing me to
enter the room with my gun drawn. We find a badly beaten man tied to a chair with a sack over his face. Rorschach watches my back while I walk to the person and rip the sack off revealing the man to be BostonGeorgeJung. Boston spits out blood and ask's "What took so damn long?" before grinning. We look at each other and laugh "Traffic".

Leaving the warehouse the three of us talk amoungst ourselves while taking the Batmobile back home.

"I appreciate everything you two have done today. I wouldn't be standing here if it wasn't for that little rescue."

We both nod and reply with. "Dont mention it thats what family is for"

"So before this capture I talked with RoRoG about taking a move to St.Louis I will be needing strong loyal people at my side to help bring back life to the city. Batman after seeing your quick thinking today and long history of helping me out in New Orleans as my right hand man I would like for you to be one of my captains. Of course only if you choose too."

Batmans eyes light up with excitement after hearing the great news and nods.

"It would be an honor sir, I will make sure to do my best and allways strive to better the city."

The next day...

Batman walks out of his new head quarters and looks out at the crowd in the streets before speaking.

I would like to say how proud I am to be given such an opportunity and would like to announce The Wayne Enterprise. I look forward to working with the other families in the eight cities and would like to continue this great prosperity the streets have seen in recent times.

I light up a cigar and walk back into head quarters to get started with business.

Congrats Batman. We worked together for awhile in New Orleans and this is a proud moment to see you get your shine on.

Congratulations Sir! I'm sure you will do a great job in St. Louis working under Godfather George Jung. I'm wishing you and your new family good luck and congratulations once again.

Scipio smiles as he listens to his friend and hears the great news.

Batman, we have been good friends for a long time. Our bloodlines have known each other for a long time as well. I am so happy to finally see you get this chance. It is fully deserved to a man that works as hard as you. I can only say that I am sorry to not be there to help you out on the beggining of the journey. But congratulations and I know that you'll do St. Louis proud.

Batman, I haven't spoken to you often. I in fact have only heard of you if my memory doesn't decieve me, but I know you will do a good job from the things that I have heard.

Congratulations Batman, this is truely another epic day in your saga. Im proud to work by your side and know that you will do great things. I cant wait to join in one of the adventures myself.

Fox had been jumping up and down with excitement, she was proud of her friend and looks forward to the great things he will offer St. Louis. She knew that -BostonGeorgeJung was a wise man in authing him and was certainly sure the man was lucky to have him as a captain. She made her way through the oncoming crowd and forced her way through the small openings; she finally made it up to him and offered a big hug.

“I am so happy for you, you deserve this. Congratulations ! It is time to celebrate !”

There was a great future to be held in St. Louis and she was eager to witness such events. She smiled one last time at her friend before disappearing in to the crowd and becoming nothing but air once more.  

Alesia smiles and nods to herself in agreement with the decision and the family.

I cannot say how happy I am and how excited I know the family is to make this really something.

Rumor has it your Left Hand Man once ran a very lucrative criminal enterpirse in a far away city called Bababooeyland, so I'm sure he will serve you and the city of St. Louis well. Salut, my Friend.

Pausing for a moment she laughed a bit at how she seemed to be echoing SexyBeast.

Bag made it in time to witness Batman's speech. After a couple others have made theirs, Bag went up to make his speech and made his way through the crowd.

" Congratulations Batman on your achievements. I am sure you would do well with your crew and yes, i look forward to working with your family too. Oh and also, excellent crew name "
