This is just a quick idea that I had about mobmails in MR. And if idea is already in the game or has been implemented, then sorry for re-posting it.

Is it possible, or if its not too hard to code in or whatever would be necessary, that we could get a text message forwarding system that sends our mobmails to our phones? I only suggest this because my cell phone(and most others that I've had) for some reason cannot use MR mobile and when I'm away from my computer, I would like to have my messages forwarded to my phone. I believe Facebook has something similar in which all messages that come to your inbox on Facebok get sent to your phone. It also does other things but that Is the only one that is relevant to this topic. I know this doesn't necessarily make the game better per se, but I for one would liketo be able to respond to mobmails on the go. Thank you for your time.

I would like this but it would cost far to much, unless this was an option which you could pay for via credits. The cheapest gateway I have seen is around 1 cent. Although 1 cent isn't much say 100 people use this (maybe more) and they get sent 10 messages daily that would cost MR $10 daily. Although there are people who would get sent more messages. Also think $10 daily thats $300 a month (around what the server would cost to run), so I really don't see this being implemented because of the cost.

I wouldnt really be intrested in every message per se being forwarded to my phone only ones of importance. Would an option be available for the sender to click send to mobile if it was important and the person was offline.

I would especially be interested for my personals to be sent to my phone if I was offline.

only one thought, is it a good idea to make it easier to thwart asleepytime attack by texting an alert to your CL?

That already happens, melien. I'd venture a guess that each city's HSL already has the phone numbers of every hitter and CL in the city in their phone, and the very serious hitters have the same. If there's an attack, phones start ringing regardless. The more realistic effect this would have is to allow the same for who don't feel comfortable giving out their phone numbers to folks they only know online.
