I've been walking around these streets for a few days. A few longer then
some and a few less than most. In my short stay I've tried to understand
what it is that the population of these streets wants to see, what they
care about, and what they are willing to spend their time listening to.
I tried assumed based off of who had the most listeners for the longest
periods of time...while this method served me it didn't serve me well.
Then a bright idea awoke within me, "Why not just ask?"


So, here I am today wondering. What do you want from your streets? What
in the streets now do you care about and what do you want to see in the
future?

Do you prefer any type of speakers over another?

Humor, Adventure (fictional or factual?), Interactive stories, romance,
News, Personal histories, and anything you can think of.

Does the length of what is said effect your interest? To long?
To short?

Any input that can help the speakers of our world will be greatly appreciated.

More or less all of the above. But what I would like to see most from the streets is for people to act upon them selves and say what is on their mind, and not so much say what others would expect them to say. I guess in general I would like to see things on the street get shaken up a bit. Ask questions that haven't been asked and say things that never been said. I grow tired of the same old debates and stories being carried over from one group of people to the next.

I know what I dont' want to see, but alas its what is easiest to jolt down or get up and talk about.

I'm talking about the endless debates about Loyalty to your boss, your crewleader, going down with the ship etc.

I'm intrested to hear about your exploilts.  Take what this particular Thing of Ours offers you and translate it to a living experience.

I can talk more about that with examples, but we would have to hang out together at the OCC bar.

I would most like to see action, packed with more action, emphasized with suspense, with a streak of imagination. 

I don't prefer certain speakers, I prefer a certain way of speaking. To be a storyteller you have to be good at telling stories. I want to be captured. Be mysterious. Pour in your heart to see others be affected and feel what you're describing too.

Length only bothers me when the things being described are not related to the storyline, and the story starts to slow down. I like a long story when I'm enveloped in it. Just not when I can't put myself in the position of the character and the situation.
The mafia is full of drama, can't anyone tell? Let's inject some life into that.

I love a well crafted personal style of story telling. Anyone can describe what's around them, but not everyone can input their personality into decribing what's around them.
