The Life and Death of Gavin, the first time anyway.

It all started on July 24, 1715 in Havana Cuba. Gavin's birth name was
Jesus Alejandro Gonzalez. He was born to Maria Gonzalez as the bastard
child of General Don Juan Ubilla. Upon hearing that this child was born
he ordered 10 of his ships to set sail for Spain, taking the mother
and the child with them. The only knowledge of the voyage is from the
captains log of the ship that the mother and child were on. Those logs
are as follows:

July 24 1715 - I am captain Jorjea of the Flower Blossom, a ship under
the command of General Don Juan Ubilla. Today we set sail 11 days ahead
of plan. The men predict poor seas and I too do not see fortunes grace.

Day 2 July 25- The men say we set sail in order to shove off the Generals
bastard son and the child's mother. Curse the man if he put a woman on my
ship.

Day 3 July 26 - We found the rumors to be true. There is a woman with
child on my ship. The men believe this to be bad luck. God guide us.

Day 6 July 29 - Our luck has turned for the worse. We face a mighty
storm that I fear we may not live. I have order the men to set the heading
north, to Florida and the Americas. May god have mercy on our souls.


The Flower Blossom was the only ship to make it through the storm. All
of the sailors of that ship blamed their bad luck on Gavin and his mother
whose names were shammed for many years. It was said that the sea tried
to claim the infant but the mother would not let him go, even in the face
of death.

In order to protect her infant son from persecution and to have him fit in more with the natives of
Florida Maria changed the childs name to...To be continued.

While listening to his story. Sweeney takes a sip of his Mtn Dew. Bobbled in his head about this story. He finnaly ask:

Sir. Why are you talking about the 1700s? That's the only question I like to ask..

Sweeney comes back in a better mood. Without his soda.

Sorry. I didn't really pay attention the first time. This "soda" is messing up my mind. This is your first life...correct? I don't know. I'm going to go lie down.

Sweeney lies down on the pavement and sleeps.

Sorry if I have confused you Sweeney, this part of the story takes place in the 1700's because that is when I was born. If you listen in to the next parts you find out a bit more details as well as why this makes sense.

Gavin smiles then sits down...
