Thanks to King_Solomon I played a good few games in the alpha. The gameplay is solid and very L4D like and it is enjoyable. I think the biggest issue is you can already tell it's going to be monetised to the extreme. If they stick with a launch price of $60/£50 they game is doomed.

I am an avid gamer could you tell me more about this game it looks very interesting I've always enjoyed games that have ....tyle and gameplay how did you like it

very mixed reviews. It's a nice game, I like where they're going with it, just now how it's implimented.

Just by playing for a few hours with my friend steve we could see it's heavily implied there will be microtransactions while playing, which is a big no no for a triple A game of its caliber.

Also, $60 for essentially l4d3 when l4d1/l4d2 were only $20????

I'm not paying $60 for it. I thought it was a cool game, but meh.

i love video games , grew up on pokemon and metal gear and a lot of your 90's video games 

i playd  the legend of zelda , Super Mario Bros ,star fox 

castlevania and so many more

Back 4 blood looks like a good game. looks like it a left for dead 3 but think its coming out at the wrong time when those type of game are out of style. Might not make a big impact like the people are hoping for and might get bad reviews due to the current games that are popular.

Saying all that i will be getting it when it comes out

Again, I think the main downfall of this game is people comparing it Left 4 Dead and Evolve. It's not either of those games, it's a brand new IP.

While a lot of people are hating the fact it will have a season pass, I personally don't mind the idea. I don't think there will be microtransactions for cards or weapons or anything. I think the DLC will be new maps and possibly characters/infected.

Left 4 Dead released with only 4 campaigns with 3-4 chapters each. From what I heard Back 4 Blood will have a bunch of maps and the replay value will be high due to the card draws, AI director, etc.

I plan on getting the game. I'm waiting to see what they do with the closed/open betas.

I am 100% buying this game. I used to play L4D with my brother for hours almost every day as well as L4D2. I'm sure I've clocked in 2k hours possibly more.

I've seen no footage of the game and I'm trying to keep it that way. I do expect it to kinda be a next-gen Left4Dead like King_Solomon said up there..but yakno. Dreamers dream! Was always a blast to play, just hoping Back4Blood is half as good and it'll be worth it.

Hopefully it will be "the same but better", I hope especially less bugs, but for me it will need to wait until there are some discounts or the price will lower, 100€ for the ultimate version!

SumTingWong yeah I hope it's a decent game. I think it will be. But we'll see. I just hope they don't monetize the card system. I don't mind buying maps, characters, skins, etc. (if I find value in it). Gidan_B you can always get the regular version. No need to get the ultimate unless you want the season pass and extra stuff. Personally, I'm waiting to see more details on the deluxe and ultimate versions. And hopefully there's a beta coming soon so I can play a little more before making a decision.

Ah perfect, a thread already exists. I mentioned elsewhere about getting teams together to play this. I wasted long nights with friends on Left 4 Dead.

Oh cool, that's exciting!! I really loved left 4 dead 1 and 2 back in the day, use to play with my friends till the sun came up. I guess this is the same guys that made the original right? Pretty cool idea to be honest lets hope they can pull it off like they did the first two. I'm definitely going to check it out I've been looking for a good multiplayer game to get sucked in to. Now if only I had more free time lol

Yeah Back 4 Blood is made by the same makers Turtle Rock Studios, they are just not making it with Valve now, so they are using the original name that it WOULD have been for left 4 dead. The teaser for it looks amazing, and as far as I know the testing game play looked awesome too.

Oh my, this made me remember the good old L4D days! I might give it a go, the graphics look pretty dope. :)
