Gaius was sitting on the roof of the Desert Palms as the wind blew through the sea of trench coats. The loyal protection followed the Las Vegas city head around from early morning to late night, but for now the moon had just came out for a proper viewing. He plucked a cigarette from his sleeve pack and as he was about to strike a match, one appeared in the hand of everyone's favorite Colonel.

Thanks Kurtz, your early... first for everything.

Tugging on his cigarette, Gaius sat down on the ledge over looking the Las Vegas Strip. His casino was the biggest and tallest attraction in all of Las Vegas, but more would come soon. The hammers wouldn't stay silent for long, for the vision that Gaius and Kurtz had for this city would be a magnificent wonder. One that would make Godmother Aurora raise from her grave and celebrate.

Kurtz stood silently by his leader waiting ever patiently as he had done on countless occasions. No doubt the man thought Gaius was just collecting his thoughts on a new business venture that he needed Kurtz to attend to.

Gaius chuckled, well he did.

Kurtz, you and I have been together for a quick minute now. Our ancestors in NY, worked well together. When you joined me I knew that we would make quite an unstoppable team.

Gaius sighed as he looked at the puzzled expression on his friends face.

Your going bold, it's time. You'll take the majority of my family when I take over as acting Godfather, but I want to ensure that everything is situated. We all know associates, they aren't the most flexible individuals, but Kurtz, nothing stops the profit wagon around here.

Gaius wasn't surprised as he immediately noticed Kurtz shaking his head. When you make such a strong upper structure that he had, with him and Kurtz it was hard to pull apart. Kurtz knew it as he continued his sign of stubbornness towards this new idea.

Not many that have told me no, have lived to tell the tale. Here...

With that, Gaius flicked a pair of keys into the air and Kurtz caught it with the swiftness of a trained killer.

It'll be better for the city and you know it. There just isn't anyone that matches up to your talents. What I'm giving you isn't just another bold suit, another headquarters. I believe that you are the best fit for this opportunity and you will run your headquarters extraordinarily, honestly and will reach a very high place of success.

Shaggs walks up to both of the two men who he trusted so very much with a large smile on his face and a silver flask for each.

My friends, I have two things to say. First off take these god damn flasks it's a pain carrying three at a time.

Secondly, I have been waiting for this day for such a very long time. My ancestors of a certain Mexican Dish worked with both of your ancestors long ago in New York. Since the days of Tyrion I've waited patiently for your bloodline to once again take the reins. This is such a happy day for the city of Las Vegas. If your past is any indication of the things that we have in store then these streets will soon be alive with magic again.

I knew this day would come. Watching the growth of this fine city is a wonderful thing for these eyes. I couldn't think of a better man then Kurtz to take on this role. Congrats to you both as I look towards a bright future.

Chade smiles as he hears the news Don Gaius just announced.

Walking upto the pair of them he smiles and nods his head to Gaius and Kurtz.

Congratulations, this is well deserved and i can say without a doubt that you will serve not only Don Gaius but also all of Las Vegas well.

The muffin appears behind Gaius and Kurtz on the roof and hops over to Kurtz.

Kurtz, you and your ancestors have taught me a lot of things and now you have the chance to share that knowledge with other, fresh mafioso.

I want to thank you for everything you've done for me, the family and the city.

Benton rides up on the back of a stately black horse and swiftly dismounts before straightening his red Serge. Removing his Stetson he tucks it under his left arm before approaching Kurtz and shaking his hand vigorously.

Congratulations my friend, it has been a long time coming and I am glad to see one of your bloodline once again wearing a bold suit. I look forward to seeing how you and Gaius continue to shape and develop the city of Las Vegas. I can't think of a man more worthy of the honour.

Hound walks up to the streets and sees a familiar face get authed,

Congratulations Kurtz your truely a great addition to the fine city of Las Vegas, Good luck on your endeavours.

Hound shakes Kurtz' hand and smiles.

Six listens intently to Gaius' announcement, and upon hearing the good news, she walks over to her friend Kurtz, smiling warmly at him

In the short time we have known each other, Kurtz.. you have always been there to help any time I have needed for it. Thank you, I appreciate it so much. You are a huge asset to Vegas. You so deserve this! Congrats!
