You knew it was coming with my love of music. What is your favorite Christmas song and by which artist. We all know there are only so many Christmas songs, but each artist adds their own flair to each one.

For some reason, I have always hated Christmas music. I like Christmas, just can't stand the music for some reason... radio gets changed as soon as it starts playing. I guess if I had to pick a favorite holiday song though I'd say The Chanukah Song by Adam Sandler, still makes me laugh. |

Magnolia I don't think that is bad at all, it is preference and if it isn't good to your ears than it is not good. |

| So I don’t really have any favorite holiday music. However, I do have a song I very much don’t care for. Starting around the middle of October my job always plays Mariah Carey Christmas music on a loop. Yeah, I’m definitely getting sick of that music. | |

If I hear any more Mariah Carey Christmas songs I think that I'm going to scream!! I'm definitely in agreement with Magnolia. Mariah Carey to me rates up there worse than nails on a chalkboard. |

Usually the older tunes are the best for Christmas music, it just gets the Christmas feel going compared to the newer songs. I keep a rock version of Jingle Bell Rock as my phone ringtone year round and it gives me a nice laugh when people realize what it is. I love Christmas music! From the classics (like White Christmas which SarahAnn mentioned earlier) to the fun songs (Yes I have the Grinch memorized). I agree that "All I want For Christmas is You" is the most overrated song, possibly ever. I also love funny music. Weird Al's "The Night Santa Went Crazy" gets played every year at my house (as well as Christmas at Ground Zero). I also love Bob Rivers Christmas songs. Without a doubt, White Christmas by Bing Crosby. It's soothing and relaxing and by a fireplace sipping on your favorite beverage surrounded by family, or not, your favorite pet or significant other. It's a wonderful time of the year and it somehow seems to block out all of the worlds problems for a min. Thanks Bing for all the years your song has brought me peace. |

Fairytale of New York Song by Kirsty MacColl and The Pogues is my favourite of all time. I can’t actually believe they are trying to edit the lyrics in case a snowflake gets triggered. I have also been listening to a lot of classic Christmas stuff on the radio I like it. its a two way tie for me, I can't make my mind up between two classics, When a Child is born by Johnny Mathis and The Christmas Song (Merry Christmas to you) by Nat King Cole. Both are amazing songs, sung to perfection and symbolise the feeling Christmas should engender, perfectly. |
