The bus arrived in Chicago and stopped at the North Side bus station. The people on the bus were looking forward to seeing their families again after their journey from Philadelphia. 

Saanvi really wanted to go back to the hospital where she worked as a doctor. The holiday in Philadelphia was great but she still wanted to go home and continue her work and research.

At the point of arrival, it was quiet and everyone who thought they saw their relatives there was deceived. There was really no one waiting for them. 

People got out and looked around a bit lost. With their luggage they went to the reception area to see if their family was there. Unfortunately it was empty there as well.

One of the fellow travelers went to the receptionist to ask why nobody was there. The receptionist looked at her schedule, looked up and looked again. 

"Are you sure you were on travel number 828? I can't find that here".

"Certainly madam, 828 from Philadelphia".

Saanvi waited quietly and looked at the magazines that were for sale. Her eye fell on the date of the evening edition of the newspaper. She picked up the newspaper to take another good look.

"Guys, look at this". 

And then she lifted the newspaper. 

"Today’s date is 5 years after we left Philadelphia. What happened here? We left yesterday and not 5 years ago".

Then it was silent. Everyone was in a shock and did not know what to do. And then all of a sudden police were coming in the meeting room. Even the FBI came in. 

Saanvi was one of the first to be questioned, but she too did not know what was going on. When she wanted to go to her house, the police told her that her house had been rented to someone else. Because they did not come back 5 years ago her house was sold.

A gorgeous woman came up to her, neatly dressed in a black dress and started to talk.

"Saanvi, my name is Lilith it won't be easy to have to start over. Certainly not because you think it is still 5 years ago. I can offer you a shelter where you can find out exactly what happened in those 5 years. What do you think, would that be an option for you"?

Saanvi looked around and only saw questioning eyes on her. 

"Thank you Lilith, I am happy to accept your offer, so that I, as well as my fellow travelers, can rest and find our relatives".

"Perfect. The bus can take you all to the house. The building is called Manifest".

After 5 long years of worry Toaly heard that Saanvi had turned up in Chicago. It had been a cold winter's day when he had waved goodbye to Saanvi at the Philadelphia coach station. Nothing was heard from the coach or the passengers again until today.

In the 5 years that had passed business had been good in Philadelphia but the mystery had plagued him every day.

Toaly received a telegram that Saanvi had been bought in to the Chicago Outfit and set up in a new building. But he was still worried what had happened in the time and whether Saanvi would remember her friends in Philadelphia.

He decided to not trust public transport and drive himself to Chicago to meet with Saanvi. He jumped into his car and headed off. It took almost 24 hours but it was not the five years that it had took for the mysterious bus.

As he arrived at the building she had set herself up in he noticed the large sign that read 'Manifest' on the door.

He walked in and he could not believe his eyes.

Saanvi was there exactly the same as she had looked 5 years ago. She had not aged a day, there were other people in the house too that looked confused and wondering what to do next.

Toaly walked up to Saanvi.

"Saanvi, do you remember me? You were in Philadelphia five years ago, we were friends. You….you haven't changed one bit and I am told you remember nothing."

Toaly was concerned, what had gone on here what had happened to these poor people.
