It had been a year since her husband had vanished from the world. Savannah had wandered around with the weight of a heavy heart upon her shoulders. She sent out her guards in search of his body and the kids jumping in bed to stop her endless tears upon her pillow every night as she cried herself to sleep.

Having hating to admit that she missed her lifemate  each and every night. Wrath and with the boys out hunting the darkness that prowled innocents.  Until Revhenge  rang her and told her to come down the club for a night away from the manor. To let her hair down and get drunk, dance and leave the worries of Tenkai's disappearance for one night.

Seeing the look on her head guards face as he nodded and she went off to get ready for the evening. Savannah knew she would be safe with her guards around her.

Aven not wearing a suit this time, he was dressed casually but still looked good, he was muscled and you could tell he stood out. The music loud in his ears, he walked up to thr bar laughing with thr bar tender, making conversation as they did their job.  They laughed, as he felt thr cold breeze hit his back cooling him off from thr gatherings of thr body heat. 

As he looked over, seeing what the bar tender was drooling at, Aven raised a brow, feeling somewhat familiar to her. He snapped his fingers infront of the bar tenders faces, gsining their attention back, from their daydreaming. He chuckled a bit, shaking his thinking men will always be the same, why was he different? 

"Say, wile the drool off your face.. Something tells me you couldn't handle that even if you did get for her." He said, slightly teasing. 

"How do you know that.. Always, a over confident asshole. Yah prick." The one bar tender said. 

"Just a hunch. Listen here have I ever been wrong? Especially when it comes to femsles you want?" Aven said bring slightly a smart ass but serious. 

"Alright alright smart ass.. Why don't you try going for her." The man said as Avrn snorted. 

"Man my hands are full as it is, I am too much for her, I would end up tainting her.. You said so yourself about thr other Chick..remember? Anyway I'm working slightly.. Keeping an eye out tonight while having a good time." He said sarcastically. 

Aven had the features of Tenkai but he looked different, he then rolled his eyes as a blonde woman came up to him. She was smiling ever so sweetly, he looked at th  bar the under who happened to be laughing at him. He then took the shot and lit up a smoke, and Shook his head. 

"What can I do for you miss?" He leaned down to to the blonde womans ear. 

"Has anyone ever told you look gorgeous.. Why don't you come be a model for me? " The woman said, he snorted. 

"Lady I make more money than what you could ever give me, my line of work is dangerous, but it's fun, I could never model for you.. Please go find someone more worthy of that." He said back. 

The woman took her shot, and gave a dirty look abd left to go cling to another man, he smirked, rolling his eyes at her and turned back to thr baf laughing it up with the bar tenders. 

Savannah smiled as she chatted to Wrath, lifting her glass to her lips.  A shiver of something, she once felt  running down her spine as she looked around the room. Wrath looked at her as his arms went around her tiny waist to steady her.

"Fuck,  that was so weird. I thought I could feel Tenkai,  Wrath"  pushing away from him "damnit I'm OK. I won't break I just want my husband back"  heading to the bar and sat down on the stool smoothing out her short red laced dress over her thighs. 

Revhenge stood at the top of the stairs as he always did watching out for trouble.  As he nodded to the bartender to give her anything on the house, he had become worried as all the brothers that worked with the queen over the centuries. Wrath came up the stairs "I'm worried about her. She hasn't eaten in  so long and when she had it was picking at the meal." Wrath said  over the loud music.

"Where the fuck is he? I've up our search on him and its like he just vanished from the earth Wrath. " Replied Revhenge  as he watched a guy come up to Savannah and began to chat away.

"Will you just go away, I'm here to have a drink and dance with my friends. Not interested in a slime ball like you"  as she got up to dance with Rhage on the dancefloor. The man came up and grabbed her arm, pulling her towards him a dark aura floated around her body as the hunger rose deep in her mind. 

Savannah pushed him back and smashed his nose with her fist the way she was taught. Rhage and Butch grabbed the flailing male and dragged him to the office as Wrath came down and held her close to calm her.

"Where the fuck is he wrath? Where is my Tenkai?"

Hearing an angry woman yell, the bar tender both looked over to see a man grabbing a female thar seemed to be famiar to him, his eyes widened a bit and then went back to normal. He watched as she seemed to be having a hard time, the bar tender grabbed his bat, Aven held up his hand, seeing him being dragged off by what seemed to be two of her own guards. 

The bar tender put his bat away, as Aven took another shot, he Decided to just watch her, smirking as he talked to thr bar tender, just idlely look through the crowd move to some swing dance song. 

"Let's not do anything, looks like she is fiesty enough to make her own problems go away. Still think you can handle her?" Aven asked, as he turned, to look at thr bar tender raised his hand giving up on thst thought. 

"Hey, you never know, yah Dick head.. Always getting the good ones." The bar tender said. 

"Pfft, I don't get anything honestly, no matter my looks, I'm still by myself working hard, I haven't had woman approach me since....anyway my point is, I just sit prettyvand work my lonely ass off, while females show off and leave.. Honestly this is just back ground noise." He stated, as thr bar tender looked at him in disbelief. 

"Well, if that's true, then what about those chicks right there, getting all googly eyed right there?" The bar tender said. 

Aven turned to look and saw those bimbos and such getting all girly like a fan, he combed his fingers through his hair and turned to bar tender shaking his head. 

"Too simple, honestly femsles like that are too easy and I don't want that.. I want a loyal hard working, soft hearted hard ass woman.. But I won't be able to have that.. Because of who I am." He said with a hint of sarcasm and reality cold hard truth. 

"Well what about thr other one that you are kinda keeping an eye out for?" The bar tender stated, as Aven gave a dull look seeing thr bar tender interested. 

She was still pissed at being grabbed as she walked over to the bar and looked over at two blonde bimbos giggling. Watching them push up their breasts, Savannah rolled her eyes as she crossed her long legs "Can I get a glass jack Daniels and coke please over ice?" She asked with a soft  Carpathian accent as her eyes sparkled violet with hints of gold flowing through them.

Running her fingers through her long black curls as she sat back waiting for her drink. Wrath came over and whispered in her ear "the asshole has been dealt with my queen. "  then went off to speak with Revhenge  in the office about tightening up the security.

As the woman came over, Aven lazily looked over at her, and took a shoot of hard core bourbon, and as he looked away, he listened to her order, and snorted. The bar tender gave him a look, as Aven looked at him bored like. His eyes silverish blueish purple. Aven had tenkai's festures, but he really didn't know anything, except bis dark history. He mostly kept to himself and went to listen to some old man talk about bis issues about his office job. 

He then looked up and saw the bar tender making her drink for her and then give it to her, as he then walked back to Aven and leaned on the bar. Aven's eyes looked over at the woman that was called Queen, he didn't react, but he felt some weird shock, wondering what the fuck was going on. 

As the bar tender handed him another shot Anna came up to him all cheerful, Aven ruffled her hair, as she took the soft drink thst thr bar tender gave her, Aven had the exact same movements as Tenkai. 

"Boss!!! I did it!!! I found what you were looking for!!" Anna said, as Aven gave a smile, exactly like Tenkai.

Aven had a darkness about him that most feared, so he kept his distance, but Anna was always by his side, she always worked hard, she was like his little sister. 

"Oh? Good job, tell me about it later, for now enjoy tonight, this is partially your reward." He said, but he seemed a bit softer and saddened some how. 

Savannah lifted her hands to the temples of her head to sooth the sharp pain to her mind. Looking over at a girl she recognized as the same one that worked for her husband "Anna, is that you" she called out as she looked up at the bar tender talking to her. Turning to Wrath and looked over at him strangely as she lifted the glass and drank down the contents.

She was seeing things as her heart felt as if it was in her throat and couldn't breathe "I feel him wrath here in this club" 

He looked at her strangely "where I can't see anyone as the guys looked around this club before we came in" he replied as she stood up and looked at him.

"Don't you fucking dare tell me that he ain't here. I know what I am feeling Wrath. I swear the next bastard who tell me he isn't here I will rip out their tongues and shove it where the sun don't shine." Her eyes filled with tears as she knew what she was feeling after centuries of loving her king.

Savannah watched the two as she took out the tiny compact from her purse.

As the woman talked to Anna, he started to have the weird feeling again, like he did all those years ago, he let them talk as he started to move away, he started to have slightly flash backs. He went to let them enjoy thr night as he started to walk off, he didnt want to be reminded of his dark past. He supposed she could feel him, he couldn't have that. As he walked through the crowds, trying to get some distance. 

"Haha, yeah my boss is leaving, uhm my boss is Aven, I will explain it all to you when ever I get a chance." She said as she bowed and started to pay the bar tender. 

Aven put on his hood, after he took one last look at the woman, she didn't seem to notice him yet, as he walked out of thr back door, he seemed out of sorts, he lesnex against the wall of the back of the building. He pulled out a smoke, lighting it up, taking a hit. The outside air waz cooler around this of year he supposed. And as some of his family members came around, he let out the smoke, as they laughed and such. It waz oddly comforting. 

"Say.. Who was that woman back there boss?" Anna said as she seemed to come out standing next to him

"I don't know for sure but.. I think that's her.. The woman." He said as Annas eyes went wide. 

"Oh, that's the empress.. She looks different then back then." She said giving a smile. 

"Yeah, but I don't know for sure.. Anyway, let's get out of here before we cause more trouble to her." He said as he waited for the car. 

"Then suddenly the door busted open, as Aven moved away a bit, he turned to look and it was those two bodyguards, staring at him wide eyed.  He stood there looking at them his eyes seemed a bit saddened and bored. 

Wrath and Rhage  pushed open the door and stood there looking at him "My king, is that you? Do you know how long our queen has searched for you? " Wrath held out his hand to him as a sign of respect.

Back inside Savannah got up and paid for her drink then left the club by the front entrance. Feeling the room spin around her from the lack of eating and feeding "fuck, I knew I shouldn't have had that last drink" she cursed as Revhenge  helped to steady herself on her feet and took her to the office. He called Rhage that the queen had taken ill  and he was heading to the office" 

Savannah began to shake as images flooded her mind, feeling  the bond become stronger. Revhenge picked her up in his arms and swiftly heading into the office. "Damnit my queen, don't do this now for fuck sake" 

Avens eyes widened, confused by that, but he nodded off anyway, then as they left, Aven let his eyes back to normal, as he got into the family car following Anna. Then as they drove around, he saw then putting her in thr car. He suddenly got a weird instinct, he didn't under stand it. 

He made the car stop, taking her from the man, pulling her into his car, and taking her to thr mansion that he saw in his small flashbacks. He could see cars following him, it mustive been her men, making sure she got home safely. 

"Anna when I get out I want you to park the car over there." He ordered, as she nodded. 

As Anna stopped the car, he carried her princess style, not thinking on it, as her men followed around him, opening thr door for them. And he went to a room that seemed to feel familiar to him, as he entered the room, he gently set her on the bed. As he set her on thr bed he took her shoes off and covered her up. 

"Boss, I will have the cook make her something...I mean in case she wakes up." She said softly and cheerfully. 

He nodded as he walked over to thr balcony doors slowly, then one of her body guards entered checking in on her, he kept his hands in his pockets and he kept most of his face covered. 

Wrath came into the room and strides over to his side "I know who you are Aven .Its been  along time since we heard from you. That night in the forest, I fought along side you in order to save our Queen and the children from  those hunters."  Looking over at Savannah and sighed "she felt you tonight but it confused her. Yes I know she looks different and this was for her own sanity."

He walked over to the desk and pulled out a bundle of letters that had spanned over a few years since that day. "Read these, you will understand how and what she was feeling. The ones in the other pile are what came from those assholes that attacked the manor that night. "  handing them to Aven  and then sat in the chair next to the bed.

" she cries herself to sleep every night thinking she has done something wrong for her life mate to leave her" he explained.

His eyes widened, as he took off his hood and removed the cloth over his mouth. He then took the bune of let's of him slowly. As he looked back over at Savannah, he then looked back at wraith. Then his eyes went back to normal, he nodded. 

"So you knew about the scientific predicument her husband and I went through? Ah yeah I remember, I tried to keep myself hidden, so you guys wouldn't see me or confuse me from Tenkai and myself, I'm often told I look exactly like him...if I told you the truth.. Ots complicated honestly." He said, his voice sad for thr first time. 

"If he died, I wouldn't be here persay, but uh it's weird.. Wait she still cries in her sleep?  I thought she was ..ah I thought her children would keep her preoccupied.. Anyway I.. " He said, stumbling over his thoughts and what to say. 

He walked over to thr liqiuor stache and poured himself a drink, and took a sip, this really made him out of sorts, and he needed to figure out away to fix this. 

"I normally am on thr front lines, keeping them from coming any closer, but they retreated this time, so I was able come see my friends." He said, looking at wrath the sane as Tenkai would. 

He nodded his head as he crossed his legs "Yes, Tenkai had spoke to me about this. That night, I tried to save him from those bastards and was worried about our queen. They attacked her, whilst she was in bed  sleeping with the babies. She woke up and lost it, I never saw her fight so hard to protect them. Savannah took a sword to her stomach and a huge scar to her face." 

Wrath looked down as he remembered the night, "yes, she still cries in her sleep as the loss of Tenkai and the fact those fuckers stole her womb by slicing it up when they ran her through with the sword. "

Savannah turned over in the bed as she clutched her stomach and began to sob in her sleep

As he gulped down her bourbon, he looked over and heard, seeing her clutch at her stomach, he slowly walked over and saw thst it was her past haunting her, he sighed. His eyes resembled a type of dark sadness, as he looked back a, wrath. Aven always blamed himself for the past events, he wondered if he was doing good enough. 

Aven looked a bit exhausted, as he stared at wraths figure, today was the first time the boredom look was taken over by a saddened dark look. The dark circlex bags showed under his eyes, his aura was darker than usual, as, if it waz vetting darker. He felt confused as to what do about this information. He was a guy that mostly kept to himself and out on thr battle field. 

"I see, and what would you like me to do about this... Do you need to stay.. If so, do you need me to stay by her side or in hiding?" He asked, feeling a bit exhausted. 

He then walked back to the bourbon, and poured more into thr glass and gulped it down. It took him by surprised that wrsth found him so fast. 

"By the way, how the actual fuck did you find me? I kept myself hidden pretty well." He stated truthfully. 

Wrath looked up also exhausted from his chair "she knows that your here as she felt you tonight in the club and spotted Anna. She used to work here along side Tenkai as a sister. Don't get me wrong I love the queen as a friend but when she met Anna that first time she got so possessive over Tenkai it made me laugh on times.  She can be so fierce when it came to him but there again with the history of there love makes me wish that for myself and the wife." He grinned.

"She needs you here at least to hold her and let her know in her mind that her king is close so she can sleep" he explained to him then stands up "you need to sleep Aven."

Looking back at him "She blames herself for his disappearance that night. I think this is why she had us out searching for him every night...To answer to your question your boss recognized you the day you started to work there. I told him to watch out for you, it was when the queen felt the connection we knew it was who we looked for" then leaves the room with a smile.

As Aven listened to the man, his widened then went back to normal, his hair disheveled, over his face, as wrath finished saying what he was gonna say, he sighed and nodded. He then walked over to thr couch, and used his coat as a blanket. He then laid there, and looked out the window, seeing thr night had turned into the early morning. 

Aven started to doze off, right when Anna quietly came into the room and put some hangover soup next to Savannahs bed and then walked over to Aven, and kissed his forehead like a little sister would, and then she went to the roof of the place to keep a watchout. 

Aven looked just like Tenkai, but he looked at peace as he dozed in and out going into a soft sleep, he mostly likely had a feeling Savannah would spot him, but for now he would let her sleep. As, he dozed off he heard voices, they seemed to feel familiar to him, but he didn't know who they were. 

As he dozed in and out, but not really waking up, he could tell they had woken up Savannah, giving her a smile. But he waz too exhausted to do anything unless he had to. 

Savannah woke up to the sound of her children running into the room and jumping on the bed. Her head feeling fuzzy from the night before, she couldn't  remember drinking that much and needed to find out how the fuck she got back here. Picking up the twins that were  two and hugged them tightly, she felt closer to them since that night. 

Her heart was heavy as she kissed and hugged each of her kids, junior climbed on the bed "momma, papa is back" as he pointed at the figure under a coat on the couch.

She looked over and frown as she felt the bond flow through her mind "Go down for breakfast and I will be there when I got dressed my angels" watching them run from the room, Savannah got off the bed as she felt the sharp pain through her back.

Walking over to the figure and looked down in shock as the man did look like her life mate. Running to the bathroom and slammed the door behind her,  sliding down to a crouched position and hugged her knees tightly.  Thinking to herself "when the fuck did he get here?" Her brow frowning as she laid her head upon her knees.

As the door was slammed, he sat up so fast, and anna came to his side, his breathing was, a bit too fast as he started to calm down. He rubbed his eyes, as he looked around noticing she was gone, he panicked, he could tell she checked the bond. He combed his finger through his hair, he thought she needed sometime alone, so he laid back down as he turned towards the wall. 

"Boss, is she going to be okay?" Anna asked. 

"Yeah, seeing my face probably set her off, abd seeing me right now would just make things worse since she ran from me.. Heh, you should go make food for her children, and for yourself. Keep yourself preoccupied." He said dozing in and out. 

Wraths words kinda swirled around in his head, as he kinds turned back around and saw that it was bit cloudy. He could see it was raining, from time to time, like it was gonna snow. As he waited for Savannah to come out, heard Anna leave, as he lightly slept. 

She got up still confused by it all, before walking over to the shower and turns on water tap. As the water heated up steam filled the room,  Savannah slipped out of her dress and steps under the hot water. Letting it flow over her body as she tried to reach out through their bond to see if it was really him that was in her room.

Grabbing the shower creme and sponge and began to wash her body clean then washing her long black hair with shampoo. Running her fingers through to free the knots of sleep and then rinses out the soap before using conditioner to make it soft.

After a while, Savannah turned of the tap and grabbed a big fluffy towel to dry off her body. Grabbing her robe to slip on and tied it up at the waist then opens the door to the bedroom. Taking in the image before going to sit upon the bed where some sort of soup sat beside her bed.

Feeling her move through the bond, showing that it was complicated but it was the exact answer she wanted and the truth. As he dozed in and out, he could hear the shower going, she seemed to be washing her body. He then dozed off a bit again, he was exhausted, he then heard her coming back into the room. 

He could hear her walking towards the bed, he could hear her sitting down. Then suddenly he could hear a spoon smacking against the bowl like she was eating, recovering from her hangover. 

He opened his eyes a bit, looking over at her, he then looked around, he was exhausted, he had been righting too long, until he dropped. He looked exhausted, he kept quiet until she was ready to talk, then suddenly he decided to scoot back against the arm of thr couch, as he clesred his throat. 

"Uh wrath told me to stay here, but if you want me to leave I can, you were drunk, and they were having a hard time getting you thr car, so I helped out." He said softly. 

As he spoke he looked onto thr balcony, having slight flash backs, he was a bit out of it but he wasn't good, at this, it had been so long since he talked to someone besides Anna.
