| 2021 MR Vday Massacre Event Feb 20th 16:00 8 Rounds 24h | Started by: Squishy on Feb 05, '21 04:16 |
The MR Vday Massacre of 2021 takes place starting Saturday, February 20th at 16:00 game time and ending Sunday February 21st at around 16:00 game time. The event will be broken down into multiple mini events, so a full 24 hour commitment is not needed to compete. V-Day is a killing/evading competition. It is broken down into 8 separate rounds. You can play one round or you can play them all, you do not need to play them all to be competitive. There are a few different goals - all depending on what strategy you want to use. THE INSTRUCTIONS: Every 3-hour round starts off by giving you a fake name. No one knows your fake name so that everyone starts off on an equal footing with an equal gun. Your name is listed in the pink box at the top of your screen. Every round starts off by randomly moving you to a new city. You start off with 100 health. You can lose health by getting shot at, or by the system removing HP over time (Health Degradation). You can gain health by shooting other players, eliminating a player, or jail breaking. You start off each round with a weak gun that does little damage. You can increase the damage your gun does by shooting people or killing them. The more damage it does, the more HP it destroys from your target. You can shoot every 45 seconds. You can fly every 5 minutes. There are no pro times. When you are shooting or being shot at, there is a chance that both of your identities will be revealed to each other. The chances of this happening go up as we get further into the round. A cities will close on a scheduled rate - slowly funneling users into one final city. Districts are turned off, you can shoot anyone in the city as a whole. When you die in vday, you are put back into the regular game. You don't actually die. The regular game has some things turned off, like wacking - this avoids accidents. Wacking is turned off for 45 minutes after vday to make sure everyone stays alive. The vday version of the game has some things turned off like Drugs, because of the 5 minute flight timer, you can not deal drugs. (Think of the billions to be made!) You can use the suicide/retire feature IF YOU ARE VDAY ALIVE to end your Vday round and go back to the normal game. It is suggested that you work with a group of friends or with your family. Your family's IRC/Lounge room is a good place to start :)At the end of the day, while this is a serious competition - it's still a game. Try not to let any grudges from Vday carry over into the next day. :P I wish you all good luck! PS - You need to have earned a gun to play Vday. It doesn't matter the size, just that you have one. You should also play it safe and have your timer clear before vday starts. Make sure to have your wack perk on.
PRIZES: 1) For every shot attempt in vday (success or fail), you will gain 1 hustle point, these are given out live, as soon as you attempt the shot. 2) For every kill in vday, you will gain 5 hustle points, these are given out live, as soon as you take the kill. 3) The Best Of Rounds prizes are as follows: Round 1 Last Man Standing - $20,000,000 and 750 hustle points

4) The "Some Odd Ass Numbers That Probably Wont Happen" prizes are as follows:
5) All Day Prizes *Score = Hits + Kills (Kills are equal to 1 hit, unlike previous years where they were 2x) 1st Highest single score* in a round when comparing all rounds. - $50,000,000 and 1,000 hustle points Every participant will win Cash and Hustle Points for your participation in the event. Prizes are also being distributed based upon your participation compared against other players. You are able to win multiple things. Prizes will be given out within 14 days of the event. Prizes will be given out to whatever account with the same master ID as the contestant that is alive at the time of the prizes being distributed. If you do not have an account alive at the time of distribution, you will receive no prizes. If you mail asking about prizes, you will become ineligible to receive your prizes and any prizes already obtained may be retrieved from your account. I fully recognize this is a harsh stance to take, but often the time it takes to answer these questions is just as long as it takes to do it. I can't fully express how frustrating it is to have 20 mails on Squishy, 10 on Administrator, 5 on Helpdesk, 30 on IzzyCreamcheese, and 20 on Squishy[MR] by the same users - daily. This is being done to greatly speed up the process so we do not all have to wait because of some impatient users clogging up the works. |

Brilliant experience, brilliant event, brilliant people. Thanks for the effort to arrange this, Izzy. Thanks to those I played with for being amazing to work with and thanks & respects to those we played against for providing the challenge. Those waves were no joke, once you took some at someone they were smoked. Watching the notifications pop up as you got riddled with holes was like watching a sinking ship 😄 |
