Thomas Crown's car pulls up, in front of his newly renovated building around Times Square. He jumps out the car and looks for a soapbox to jump on, in front of his Restaurant Crowned Steaks. As soon as he finds one. He hops on and starts talking, trying to get the attention of the people walking on the pavement. 

Hello! Hey there...Whats up?!?!

Thomas says with a small smile on his face, as some people start to stop. And listen. 

Hey, hows it going? Hope all is well. I appreciate your time here. 

Thomas smiles a bit more as the crowd gets a little bigger. Thomas then pulls out his whiskey flask from his coat jacket and takes a swig before before he clears his throat. As he proceeds to talk. 

Thank you very much for your attention. I stand here before you today, before this building. Which I very proudly call Crowns Corner. Thomas looks back at the magnificence of the building, smiles and looks back at the crowd. 

As you can see, where literally a few blocks from the hustle and bustle of Times Square. And we are essentially in the heart of this great city. Now this city is for many reasons, is considered the heart of the economy of this country. And in many ways, we are the heart of the Cosa Nostra as well.

Thomas stops as he looks down to take a moment to gather his thoughts. 

The city that never sleeps. The city where dreams come true and fortunes are made. Obviously, not without any work as a local rapper would say "Petty, Jaills & Felonies....Petty, Jails & Felonies". We've all been there, Dons and Thugs alike. 

Thomas looks at the mix crowd of mobsters. From different cities and different ranks. 

However, since so many come here to make their mark and their fortunes. I built that studio up there at the top of the building. To basically bring the Cosa Nostra, its version of our best and the finest. 

Thomas reaches into his pocket and grabs a cigar. Lights it and takes a puff of it. 

So what do I mean by that? Well, there are bloodlines in our line of work that have accomplished a lot. There are lineages as we speak, that are doing such. We have some of the finest leadership at the helm at the moment. We have never seen the mobster economy grow the way, it is currently. 

Thomas smiles as he has another puff of his cigar. 

And obviously, with a flourishing business, comes a lot of able and capable mafiosos. We have never seen our trade booming like this before. So that got me thinking...

Who are the men and women behind this all? How do they make this go? How and why are they so great at what they do? 

Thomas gets off his soap box and starts to walk amongst the crowd. 

Wouldn't you want to know how this city's empire was built? What makes it tick? How it all came together? Or how some of the lineages before us did somethings truly great!!!

I did. And then I started a process to seek all that information...

Crown gets back on his soap box, as the crowd grew bigger. 

Over the last few weeks, I have been sitting down with some of the most achieved mafiosos of our world. Even some highly touted rogues. And I picked their brains, about how and why their lineages did certain thing. Obviously, their ancestors left some thorough diaries. And what I discovered will certainly amaze you. 

Thomas looks down and smiles as he takes another pull of his cigar. 

So what I stand before you to announce today. Is a set of interviews I will be hosting from the heart of the city. Atop the top of this building. In that shiny studio. You will hear from cherished bloodlines, some scary bloodlines and even some of our current leadership. Since this show is about YOU the mobsters. I am open to recommendations, for who you would like to hear from. I may have already sat down with the people, you want to hear from. However, I still have quite a ways to go. 

Thomas clears his throat and takes a swig of his whiskey. 

So with that said. Expect me to host my next guest here in the next few days. I assure you, it will be entertaining, informative and enlightening. And again, if the content is too much. You can always visit my restaurant Thomas Crowns Steaks in the New York Business districts. 

Thomas laughs. 

That was a shameless plug...but really. I just wanted to inform the mafiosos of the world. Your about to go inside the brains of some of our finest. And their thought processes. And if there is someone you want me to sit down with. I am all ears.

Tammy was just serving coffee and a piece of freshly baked cake when she heard ThomasCrown orating from the top of a soapbox. She listens carefully, wondering where it would lead to. When Thomas addressed interviews about bloodlines, she started forgetting that she actually got clients waiting for their coffee delivery and stepped forward

Well hello Mister Crown..

I was lucky enough to pass by as you were attending the crowd and I wondered.. Do these big names of our world actually want to step into the lights about their background?

Tammy's foot pivotted on the ground as she looked down for a moment

I mean, for me, I like keeping my history of family a secret.

Unwilling, she blushed when she thought of her incredibly ambitious father

What's your aim, to interview your local leaders only? Or will you, in case of it being a success, continue to do so nationwide as well?

Tammy looked at her coffee and fresh apple-custard cake. Neither the coffee nor the cake was still damping. For a moment, she contemplated going back to her bakery to replace the old for new coffee and put the cake back into the oven to heat up.

Why would I bother doing so? She mumbled, continuing to serve her clientele

Thomas Crown heard his good friend Tammy raise a question as soon as he was about to enter his restaurant. Ever the gentlemen, he had to respond to clear about any questions related to his new series. Making a about turn swiftly, he makes his way to where Tammy was standing and smiles as he finishes listening to her questions. He smiles and collects his thoughts, before speaking. 

Fantastic questions Tammy. Perhaps I should have been a bit more clear. I do apologize for any confusion. 

Thomas fixes his tie and takes of his shades. 

So first bit of your question about 'secrecy' of the bloodlines. That I completely leave up to the member of the community. I don't really want to name drop my first guest here yet. However, one of my first guests. And I have not figured out the lineup yet. Will most certainly keep their current identity private. However, the logs of their ancestors will not be. 

Thomas smiles as he continues. Trying to word his response appropriately. 

Not everyone will want their identity revealed. And I respect that, we all should. And that is a challenge of sorts for me, to present that information without a face per say. So here is hoping that I am up for the challenge. As I have confidential conversations, with mafiosos. Who would like their identities protected, as they unveil information about their ancestors. 

Crown looks at Tammy and smiles. 

Hopefully, that clears up the first question. As for the second part of the question. 

Crown starts to pace the grounds around the crowd. 

I am open to interviewing everyone across our trade. It really wouldn't be a fun series, if I just limited myself to just local mobsters. I have every intention of sitting down with leaders from across the country. In a perfect world. As I get thru these interviews. I will eventually end up sitting down with every GFC in the country. As I would like this to be a fun outlet for them, to explain their goals, achievements and vision before the members of the Cosa Nostra. I mean, clearly they have other ways of doing this. I am merely a small vessel to help in this regard, in a fun and interactive way. 

Thomas smiles and looks back at Tammy.
