"How are they holding up Ger?"

Konnor asked his Secretary, Gerry, as the two of them walked side by side on the lot, in the better half of the year, the votes within the club had almost reached one of no confidence, it caused some moments of resentment between the two. Of course, hearing from the Vegas charter did not leave the two anymore at odds.

If anything, the gap grew and it would seem like the Mother Charter would once again go through a civil war. Many of the prospects had chosen their sponsors, it left some clear loyalties and to where the club would have gone.

Yet problems cropped up for all the MC, in the form of the Winstons and many of them fleeing to Mexico, it left them to deal with the Aztecas, those who could at the border. It was left with the Southern Cali Charter.

Now the bond had grown together again but many of the brothers thought it was a matter of time before Konnor and Gerry took separate parts of the Mother Charter deciding to go their separate ways. Yet it never happened, they grew and many of the prospects had patched into the charter with ease, leaving some new brothers to fill their spots around the clubhouse.

Of course, it was not all the issues that Konnor had to deal with, especially in recent times. His daughter's wayward lover, Frankie Potts, the idiot that he was, had patched into the FAMC. He was trusted and at the very least, he had gained some morals along with a code about him. Yet family life was what kept calling Konnor back to his life outside the club.

His wife, his kids, and some of the other issues that kept coming up surrounded his family. It seemed like the agencies out there had a hard-on for them and he was going to make sure they were safe, now.

"We have 'em on lockdown, got Rochester and Buffalo up here, especially a few of the prospects hanging around. I can talk to the Jersey boys, see what has them doing and maybe we can use them for the next run. The Irish need those guns sold, and quick."

More cash and more fuckin' problems. It never stopped for the MC, Especially with the recent news of his son taking up what used to belong to the Winstons in Vegas. It left him, the National President to deal with the remaining country. Especially in California and the border in Mexico where they would be hit hard.

"Good, get Jersey up here, tell 'em we will give them 15% of the revenue for the Irish, maybe the Italians and all the other gangs can play whack a mobster while we sell them the weaponry, hm?"

Gerry nodded, already knowing that he would get on the line. They had buyers lining up for the Winston, Italian, and Irish stock, it was getting closer to the point where charters in Mexico and perhaps across the country would have to be set up, eventually, a patch over, possibly.

"We have any surplus?"

"When don't we? With the current stock, we'll be stocked enough for a while. These guns were selling, maybe we need to look at home as well as across the way, hm?"

Selling to the Aztecas was always something he wished to discuss at a later point. There was blood between the New York charter and the Mother Charter of the FAMC. It didn't leave any of the parties wishing to sit around the campfire and sing kumbaya any time soon at the very least.

"Talk to the boys and we'll put it at the table, good enough?"

Gerry grunted before patting Konnor on the back, knowing that he needed to be alone right now. Especially with what was going to be coming to their door soon enough, time was money right now.

The sharp sound of a lighter being used echoed throughout the office as Konnor leaned back into his chair, glancing over at the documents, all pertaining shipments from the Irish and Italians. Thank fuck his Son was handling the business with the Asians, otherwise, he was going to have his Vice President handle all the other shit that came up with this kind of business.

"Are you seriously saying that this is the way we're going to play it?"

Konnor muttered to himself, he couldn't believe this is how the business would work for right now. He had decided this club was going to be something, a chance to start something new, it proved to be different, another kind of life. Times where he wished the patch of Presidency remained with Estarossa or Jury, they could turn this around.

Yet the Adult Entertainment industry, it was proving to be one of their lucrative businesses and truly it was already becoming one of the few joints that made money out the ass, it was proving to be something that they could all fall back on if needed.

"You look like shit, I tell you, rest up, do you listen?"

Shaking his head, he didn't address the voice and only took a drag from the smoke as he turned around, grabbing himself a bottle of scotch, pouring a glass as he motioned for Uri to take a seat, the man was a guard of the very highest quality.

"Of course not, I have a club to run and a wife at home who wishes I spent more time with the kids. Which I will, you and Orkon can handle the business with the Fallen Productions and Gerry will handle the guns with Jersey. If anything else, you put Creary on it with a few of the other patches."

Uri nodded and he brought Konnor a little smile before the two went to work, of course, they both knew that Konnor was the one that represented the club. Yet now he was needed to step up in other capacities, something that Uri was willing to bring about in a way.

"Go, spend time with your family man. Seriously, I hear that your wife is making some good stew, would have wished for a potluck."

Shaking his head, Konnor stood to his feet and hugged his brother, patting him on the back firmly before nodding his head.

"I love you, brother, seriously."

Uri nodded, turning away as he went to the work not answering Konnor as he was already out of the office. Though he did watch him from the window, not for long, he would have to handle the assignments, it would be simple, for right now

Konnor didn't waste any time, he knew what this was going to be like.

His wife had always been a bit reluctant to the life he had up until this point, it left him feeling wobbly an unsure of his position even in his own world. Yet now, as he glanced up at the apartment, he knew at some point, he would have to get them out of here, he had earned the biggest cut out of the club.

Shaking his head, he stepped up to the plate and walked through the complex, noticing how quiet it was, almost like tension was building up, he shook his head and entered his apartment coming face to face with his kids, Dominik and Natasha, he smirked at them, lifting them both up as they squealed in delight.

"Daddy's home!"

Natasha screamed out, causing him to smile, genuine as it was, he knew that he reeked of smokes and leather. He looked at his kids like it was the first time he was really seeing them in a while. He had missed them, he sat down, turning on the radio before kissing them both on their foreheads softly.

Leaving them to their antics as they grabbed their cards, seemingly playing against one another, he had to wonder about that for a second before he left them to it.

Walking into the kitchen, he leaned up against the frame of the doorway as he watched her chop like she had something against the board itself.

"You know at some point, you're going to want to aim that at your actual target..."

He lazily said his statement, she turned around and met his eyes with one of her own amused grins before placing it down, for now. He wasn't trusting her around knives for a while after what he knew she did for a living and how she grew up...

"I'm here, trust me, I'm here."

She broke then, rushing into his arms and hugging him tightly as if he was going to be taken away at any moment. It seemed like he had been missing from his family for years. Yet he felt every single punch, the weight of the moment, it truly was something else.

The Marx family sat around the table, Konnor was currently tearing apart his bread, simply dipping it into the stew as he listened to his family chat. It was nice, of course, he heard little hushed coming from the right of him and he had to tilt his head, knowing that he could hear it perfectly.

Yet it seemed his rebellious children thought he didn't hear a single word, almost like they had an invisible world known only to them and so he simply let it go, knowing that it was best for him to simply let them have their fun.

"I'm not telling him! Big Bro will do with it..."

"He's right there doofus! Let him handle it!"

Okay NOW THAT grabbed his attention, turning his head, he simply watched them, discarding his bread and stew for now as he noticed his wife simply continue as if they hadn't just said what they said.

The fuck in Fallen Angel was going on? This was some bullshit, clearing his throat, pointedly, he got the attention of everyone at the table and he knew what he was doing, looking each of them in the eye, he couldn't simply let it go, especially like this.

"What's going that you're talking so loud that I can hear you, you do see the space of this table, right?"

He was not going to simply let it go, especially when they had discussed whatever this was in front of him, he gave them all a look that told them the better start talking.

"Natasha has a bully..."

"Dom you bi-"

That cut Natasha short, another pointed cough and a risen brow, okay, so maybe he should have been home a lot more because this shit was going on under his roof and this wasn't going to be happening anymore.

"Who is the kid and what is he saying, hm?"

Natasha glared at Dominik and yet all he gave her was a small nod before she turned to her father, giving him a soft smile.

"I love you Papa..."

"I love you too Princess, now go on, tell me."

Calmly, he went back to his stew and bread as he waited for an answer and already formulating a plan, at the very least, he could talk with the kid and his parents...

"Joey Sparks, says things like Biker Trash and he said I'm going to end up like Momma..."

"Joey....Sparks?"

He paused, for a moment he was sure that he heard that name somewhere before, he shook his head, it would come back to him...

"At school? why don't the teach-"

"In this building and school, Papa..."

And now he turned to his wife who stared back at him with wide eyes of her own, they both didn't even know. Well fuck, it would be time to get to work soon enough...

"We wanna talk dear wife of mine!?"

She growled at him, stepping up to him and poking her finger into his chest causing him to raise a brow, he gave it a few moments before she was blaming him.

Give it a few and he watched her, now crossing his arms over one another with a smirk playing at his lips.

"Me!? You weren't here-"

"There it is, you know why. It is not like THEY CAN. So for once, who the fuck is this Sparks kid that thinks he can insult my daughter!?"

There was that fire in his eyes and for once, she didn't see Konnor The King, she saw the man she married and she was glad for it. He was a protector, a man that could not be stopped when someone hurt those precious to him.

His children proving to be the one thing that nobody could hurt, especially with him around. So he gave her a look, bowing his head for a moment and allowing her a small moment to think.

"They're a family, they were involved with some deal that Alvarez made a while back, went sour ad the Sparks took the lesser side of it, they came out whole. Usually, they're involved with the legitimate side of the things you do, like lawyers and judges. They work in New York.."

He nodded and he knew a way to deal with this, deal with the fucking kid first, so he went back out to his kids, noticing Natasha as she sat there with her cards, that never-ending smile at her lips and all he could do was smile back, not even realizing that it was one of the few times that it was genuine.

"Princess, can you help me find this boy, hm?"

She nodded, giving her Pop-Pop a blinding smile, something that Dominik followed up with a shove to her shoulder as to tell her to pack up the cards, she glared at him as she turned away from her hero.

"Konnor!"

The father turned back to face the mother of his children with an easy smile, one that was still as genuine as the way he wished to protect them from the life he led.

"Don't worry, this won't be like my world, I promise you that."

She nodded her head, going to clear the table as she watched her husband and children go out the door. Within moments of being back, he was being the hero to his family instead of his club, that brought a smile to her lips. For once, their family was being put first.

"There he is, with his brother, Pop-Pop..."

Nodding his head, he knelt down and gave her a nod, she knew what she was to do, the two of them would simply walk past and Konnor would observe, already wanting to see what was going to happen.

So he watched and already, he could see the hurt that this boy was going to inflict on his kids, he was going to make sure that he was dealt with. In one way, at the very least, something that wouldn't end up with the family relocating.

Natasha walked by with Dominik and she was soon tripped up, she glared up at Joey who simply hovered over her, his brother not doing a single thing, seemingly uncaring until a bigger shadow cast over all of them. It made Joey and his idiot of a brother looked up, seeing her Poppa, of course, Dominik simply smirked at them.

"Boys."

The tone he used, he was pissed, of course, he painted it differently and made sure that they at least thought, they could smooth glide this bitch outta here. That wasn't going to be happening, he stepped forward, giving them a stone-cold glare, to the older brother, of course. The one who simply stood by.

Konnor looked down at his nails, they were managed well enough, he really should be making appointments, he knew he was starting to feel like a caveman. Seriously, clubhouse life was something he would need to be working on and soon.

"Do you know who I am?"

The teen gave a small whimper, showing how scared he really was, no amount of confidence would have prepared him for today. So he stepped into the boy's personal space, patting his shoulders, his kid's beside him and for a moment it seemed like everything was okay until Konnor gave him a smile.

"You know who these kids are, hm? Cause if you did, you wouldn't be messing around with them, you get that?"

The teen nodded once again before waiting to hear what the fuck was going to happen to them, Konnor Marx not someone to mess around with and now they were messing with his children?

"What's next?"
