Word on the street Started by: -James_Conway- on Jun 09, '11 13:45

Mr Conway came walking down the streets that he had walked upon many times before. Not recognizing many familiar faces he walked over to a young kid who seemed to be giving the word on the street at a fixed cost. Now, Mr Conway was not rich and nor was he poor, so he slipped a fifty dollar bill into the kids shirt pocket before hitching up a cuban cigar and speaking.

"Well kid, what do you know? Who's recruiting around here eh?" Said Mr Conway shortly before taking a few puffs on the cigar. He knew what he was doing when it came to earning his way through the ranks of a gangster and so he wanted to know who was willing to give him a shot, and what his best options where. Just before the boys came to collect him in a few days by order of the godfather to fit him for some cement shoes.

Good day there, James.

I'm sure you'll find a lot of the crime families are recruiting. If you take a walk down News & Info Avenue, you'll see a poster on the wall signed "Crews", it tends to have all the information you require on who is recruiting and what kind of operation they run (tax wise).

Alternatively, if you send any of the leaders a letter i'm sure they'll be more than happy to correspond with you.

Hi Mister James.

I agree with Alabama. There are a lot of sponsors recruiting. Take your time that tattoo you have lasts for 48 hours and you are protected as long as you have it. Thats more than enough to think which family and city fits best for you.

Mr Conway looks away from the kid abruptely as he spots a family head by the name of Alabama Worley coming over to him and speaking with him. He found it an honor to already have one of the family heads speak with him directly. He smiled and spoke back.

"Hello there m'am I am truely delighted that you have taken the time to confront me on the matter." Says Mr Conway taking another drag on the cigar. He continues to talk. I shall of course head down there in due course. Thank you so much for your help."

Mr Conway also spots Bonaserita coming over and agreeing with Alambama on the topic. He nods his head in agreement and he felt overwhelmed that people where taking the time to talk to a newbie on the shore.

"Thank you very much Bonaserita for also taking the time to come out here to talk to me. I am very grateful."

I'm sure numerous members of this society where awaiting you 'at the docks' so to speak. Talks of fast cash, protective familes, or just directions to the nearest HQ without a single word evcen being muttered to you. All the advise Ill give you is this, take some time to learn about your potential sponsor or future crew leader. It will make a major difference in this life of yours.

As Mr Conway notices Falcon coming over to him he smiles and pays close of attention to him as he delivers some wise advise.

"Mr Falcon, thank you for taking the time to come and seek me. I have been thinking about it for a while now and I have decided to join Mr Chade's crime organisation." Adds Mr Conway.
