PeterMcNeil was elated, he and 3 others had formed a little football team decades earlier, in 1872, some may have claimed he passed away much earlier but they'd be wrong - he'd done his duty in the world of football but moved on to bigger and better things.  His little football team, or soccer as the new world called it, started with 4 other lads, one of which was his brother had claimed another title.  The Glaswegian immigrant had tried to keep quiet but it was an impossible task.

Local mafioso in the speakeasy could not quite understand the elation shown, how much it meant, what being a 'Ger destined one to be.  Firing some drunken shots in the air Peter quickly caught himself on, and moved away from the scene, as the local police were sure to come and investigate what had happened.  

Some day this team might, as Peter hoped, achieve absolute greatness.  He could see world records, fighting hard in Europe inside and outside of the relatively new Ibrox stadium.
