The turn into crime. Started by: Alfred-Ragazzo on Jun 13, '11 00:32

Alfred ''Alfie Black'' Ragazzo grew up as an altar boy in Sicily for one of the local churches in his neighborhood of Palermo. Ragazzo admired the big mafia figures that lived before his time, the men of honor, like Vito Genovese & Carlo Gambino. He had learned that his grandfather who he admired just as much as his father, joined the men of honor society along with Gambino. Ragazzo's grandfather was the right hand man of Gambino doing set numbers of hits each week alongside Gambino for even bigger mafia figures than themselves. On a cold December morning Ragazzo's grandfather was doing a hit with Gambino, and everything turned very sour. Gambino had turned on Ragazzo's grandfather & put a moon roof in the back of his head, the reason was Gambino wanted it all -.. he wanted the cash, he wanted everything that his right hand man was taking from him. Gambino saw that his right hand man was getting more cash than him through silent parnerships and buisnesses from their contacts in New York. After Gambino took heat for the murder, and was soon ratted out by one of Ragazzo's many associates, he made his way into America & left the Ragazzo clan behind, making his own way in America. Soon after his grandfathers death Alfred was a wreck, he turned to a life of crime with a group of local hoods who robbed people on the streets & perfected hold ups in many of the stores. They also robbed grocery carts & kicked the owners teeth in until he was so beaten up even his mother couldn't recognize him. Alfred's father punished him for turning into this crime seeing that his son was turning much like his grandfather, he put his son on the next boat to America, and set sail. On the boat Alfred heard about the streets being paved with gold & many riches to be found in the rivers. But when he arrived in Philadelphia the streets weren't paved with any gold & there were no riches in the waters around Philadephia. Nonetheless, he thought it was beautiful. Alfred was doing the same exact thing he did in Sicily whilst learning the language of English -- he joined another local gang who did the robberies cleaner than in Sicily. The gang raised enough blood money & moved to Las Vegas to try and get more help with their criminal enterprise that they were attempting to build. Ragazzo met up with a local mafia figurehead named James ''Jimmy'' Napoli who accepted him into the Vegas Syndicate as an associate. Ragazzo has been in jail twice since then, for assualt charges and armed robbery. Both of the times he had said nothing & got nothing, and stayed loyal through the dirtiest with his boss Napoli. This is the end of Ragazzo's story so far, but he is still going on building his own enterprise inside of the Vegas Syndicate.

Joey Caresi was born as Giuseppe Caresi in a small Sicilian village in 1900. His parents, Antonio and Maria were honest and hardworking peasants who raised Joey the best they could, but still the family was very poor. The village was ruled by a man of honor, Stefano Belfiore, an old but ruthless Mafia boss. The Caresi family was living peacefully until one of Belfiore's men tried to extort money from them when Joey was 12. Antonio refused and the man hit him, which led to enraged Antonio killing the gangster. As the gangster was a soldato, the formal member of the Mafia, who could not be murdered without Don's permission, this was an offense only blood could wash away. While Antonio was sitting outside a small cafe, one man walked up to him and shot him in the chest with a lupara, a sawn-off shotgun and at the time favorite weapon of the mob. Fearing that Antonio's son would try to take revenge for his father's death, two men captured Giuseppe and took him to Don Belfiore's residence. Unable to watch the death of the boy, Belfiore ordered one of his goons to take Joey far from the house and kill him. The mobster, unable to shoot the child, let him escape and told the Don that he murdered him. That night, Joey and his mother were smuggled away from Sicily, heading to America on a boat full of immigrants. They began living in a small New York apartment and Joey was working in a bakery (owned by a Sicilian man) to provide for his family.

Five years later, his mother became seriously ill and died. Joey went to live with his best friend Jimmy Biani's family and it was Jimmy whom Joey entered crime with. They began doing small-time jobs for a small Mafia faction, which consisted of pickpocketing, selling on the black market, and setting protection rackets. After raking in some, to them, serious money, the crew, which consisted of Joey, Jimmy and three other friends, moved to Chicago. After trying to set a protection racket in a liquor store, the gang was kidnapped and brought to SexyBeast, caporegime of the Chicago Mob, whose boss was Roman. Instead of killing them, the mobster decided to let them work for him.
