I am curious here, the CL has been killed for having the swastika and a nazi saluting it. Would he have received the same punishment had he not had the nazi saluting it? Beacuse for over 3000 years before the Nazis used it, it was a religious symbol for hope.

Without getting into the actual kill, it is pretty clear that this symbol only represents one thing to vast majority of the world in modern times. Whilst it may have meant one thing in the past, over time it clearly has come to encompass an entirely different meaning. Similarly, at one point in time, a cross would just have been two sticks overlapping, but almost the entire world will now recognise this as a symbol of Christ. The isomorphism between the two is that as a society, we allow for words, symbols and so on, to drastically shift and become semantically unique from their previous incarnation.

It is probably good practice for a site such as this to try to avoid any controversial imagery that could be construed as racially or discriminatorily inflammatory, in our ever increasingly litigious society.

Not that i am for seeing swastikas or nazis but if this is a 18+ game then i dont see the big deal, when i hear 18+ i pretty much am ready for just about anything.. This is a mafia game last time i checked and people are getting killed left and right lol if the community really had a problem with his nazi ways then i think thats why this is a good game and mimics real life.. Because if the community had a problem with it they could always try to take him out theirselves if they did not like what he stood for..

This also isnt a game i run so i cannot make judgements really, if the admin doesnt like that kind of stuff then it should be respected, period. Being wacked out though i do feel to be kind of a harsh punishment, but again its not a call for me or anyone else to make except the admin.

The difficulty lies between the boundaries of in character and out of character. The Mafia on the whole were extremely religious, stemming from idealistic Catholic families. There is every reason to speculate that members of Mafia would have taken significant umbrage with the policies advocated by this organization and may well have reacted accordingly.

Unfortunately, MafiaReturns cannot remain purely impartial in any potentially controversial matters that extend above and beyond the scope of the entertainment of the game. Whilst I, as a player, was not particularly offended, I can understand why the administration felt obligated to act.

I'd like to interject my opinion following the announcement that SexualBeast made in reference to the current Detroit protection order. I apolgize for a lack of promptness, but circumstances occurred earlier in my day that kept me from delivering this correspondence sooner.

It is truthfully a disgrace that an individual’s leadership had to be uprooted due to such implausible actions. Using a pictogram of hatred is basically unacceptable in this underground arena of ours, and must never be tolerated by its community.

The administration was absolutely correct in the elimination of this organized crime syndicate, as their memorandum was not an appropriate representation of what is satisfactory in our society.

While some may sympathize with those who lost their existence due to this unfortunate, but enormously necessary decision, it is unambiguous that numerous individuals within our community overwhelmingly support the decision of the management to eradicate said account from daily mafia competition.

At the end of the day, one must formulate acceptable expression, and this simply wasn’t a positive selection.

Thank you you just made my decision to leave this game that much easier..... I find it such a crock of S**T that this indivudual had to die... GROW UP ADMIN

I thought the Admin wack was the warning not an admin jail, which Squishy did state in Benton's case. He simply said the warning was removing his account, but here you change the warning to removing the offensive material and considering an admin jail. (like you may not even admin jail them?)

I will take the time to clarify myself. The intended meaning was more along the lines of admin jail being a light slap on the wrist punishment for those with minor infractions that are brought to my attention.
