"Hey, wise guy, looking to earn a few bucks while you're in town?" Jack pushes himself off the outer wall of the Cat and Phoenix at the mouth of Race Street's pier. The man approaches the prospective worker, looks them up and down and gives a little nudge to the shoulder, making sure they can stand up on their own two feet. He nods, satisfied. "Yeah, you're the kind of people we could use. See, money is good these days. The whole country is prospering. Well, for those of us that ain't schmucks working the nine-five it is. So we're going to push some of that wealth back into the community." He steps back and points towards the stairs at either side of the pier's entrance, "down those stairs, there's a place we call The Underbelly. It's where all the real work takes place to keep cash flowing. Down there you'll find a guy at a desk. He'll tell you what jobs are on offer." "It's a simple gig, you read the card, interpret it as you want, then go and get the job done. It'll only ever be in the Philly business districts. You may need to just get your work done in The Underbelly, you might need to visit a few places across The Pier, who knows. Depending on the standard of your work, you'll get paid anything between $500,000 and $1,000,000 in tips. Just be sure to tell the Foreman what job it is you're taking first, so he can notify any other workers." Jack hands you a card and continues to take steps backwards towards the Cat and Phoenix tavern, "Here, all the info you need. Oh, and we're only looking for Wise Guys, any questions?"

She thrust her hand up into the air, jumping slightly. "Oh, oh! Jack! I have a question!" she called out, bouncing where she stood, waving her arm wondering if the man, JackMezzo was going to pretend yet again that he couldn't hear or see her, or if he'd actually take pity on her. "Jaaaack!" she cried in a sing-song voice, "I have a queeestion!" she grinned at him, still waving her arm around, trying desperately not to laugh. When he finally turned and nodded at her, acknowledging her at last, she knew she had won. "Well now, Sir," she started, a twinkle in her eye. "I can't help but notice that Me and Frank have been working really hard, and yet it wasn't until after we no longer fit the bill did you offer this up." She tucked her hands in her pockets and kicked at an imaginary rock on the ground, "Well shucks, Jack, it's like you don't want me or Frank to have any fun." |

Peter noticed the frantic motion of Frances desperately trying to get the attention of Jack, like a child in a sweet shop she was eager to the max and ready to go forth and do whatever was required. Frances" said Peter "I'm sure it was just a mere timing coincidence, and nothing at all with you being given your promotions. Although I will admit it is rather strange that when people discuss your ranking now they don't go all strange when they talk... almost LiKe SoMe SoRt Of WiNd HaS TaKeN tHeM"
