Marionette approaches the gathering audience, and addresses the masses with an eloquent rendition of 'God Bless Augustus' before making his initial announcement

Greetings friends and acquaintances. I am here this beautiful evening to enlighten you with the opening installment of what I like to call 'Marionette Theatre'.

I'll be wordsmithing some original masterpieces from departed legends of the underworld, and sharing them here for your reading enjoyment.

This week's maiden voyage comes courtesy of the Pollit bloodline, a career Wise Guy who is second behind only PizzaTheHut in this ranking categorization's 'Hall of Fame'. I hope you'll all enjoy...

'Life On The Run: The Initiation'

Boom, Boom! The deafening knocks at the door startled me.

I was wondering if the authorities had finally caterpillar-tracked me down. I speedily put on a sweater, and a pair of knickers. I took some items such as my faux identification, billfold, marajuana, and portable telephone instrument. Just as I was sneaking out of the posterior door, I detected the authorities kick in my front door.

I telephoned my associate, AlfierJr, for a ride. I commanded him to stop on the adjacent thoroughfare. I whipped out my portable telephone and connected to my dwelling number. With all of my physical phenomenon, I deliberately projectile launched it on top of the local FalconBurger rooftop. I knew the constabulary would be tracking the exchange, so I got in AlfrierJr's automobile, and we sped away.

I hid beneath a collection of sheets in his automobile, just to be confident the constabulary did not discover me. AlfierJr handed me a previously purchased minutes, portable telephone instrument. He instructed me that my former Don, Odd was promoted to Godfather. He also divulged that Odd, as well as new Don Paul_Walker, requested verbal correspondence with me.

I queried him “Is the telephone number the same?” and he replied with “What do you think?”. We migrated up the thoroughfare to an abandoned warehouse. “Hello” said the familiar voice of Odd. I replied with “Hello. Do you recognize my voice?” To which he responded “Yes, it is you Luciano.”

Odd then handed Paul_Walker his portable telephone instrument. Paul Walker said “Do you want back in this thing of ours?” I responded with “Yes” and was fully cognizant of what was looming on the horizon. “Boom!” Lucius emerged, and knocked me in the braincase with a wooden bat. Later, I woke up, surrounded by previous family members, as well as new faces.

Paul_Walker stepped up, and communicated to me “Before you say yes, you should know your former roll of LHM was afflicted when you left. Now you're a nonentity. You must make a linguistic unit for yourself again, and prove yourself.” I said with exclamation “Yes!” and the initiation beating began. It ended after four minutes, at which point I was patched up by the family medication practitioner.

Upon waking back up feeling reenergized, and well rested, Odd called up the family members. They brought barbeque devices, nutritional rations, as well as containers of wine. Paul_Walker ordered a toast to Luciano. “We are all here to welcome our newest member, Luciano!”

Fantastic story. It is great that you take the time to bring old classics like this back to the streets. We have a lot to learn from this. The initiation beating is something we don't have enough of in out world today.

Tales of unbridled passions, adventures and political intrigue of yesteryear is just what we need around here in my opinion. Reliving the exploits and camaraderie of a bygone age is testament indeed to the lives that have helped shape our society of today.

May your tales continue to flow freely into the air we breathe Marionette. I particularly look forward to the next instalment of your planned series.
