I missed it. Shame I would have loved to have taken part.  Alonzo, your story only has 99 words ^.^  You failed lol.

Nuh uh! Loophole alert  :P

"we'd like it to be 100 words and no more than 100 words."

So they'd prefer 100 words, but as long as it's not over 100 it's all cool.    :P

*SIGH* Alonzo wipes a bead of sweat from his forehead.

Phew! Thanks Aldo. And Guiseppe thanks for pointing that out. As long as the message went through that we only accept drabbles with a word count of no more than 100. Less is cool. Heck! It could have been a sentence. Actually, I doubt that would have worked. Anyways at the moment we are still in the early stages of Judging. This is a tough call and I want to congratulate everyone on a Job well done.

Alonzo, steps back into the shadows, back in to the board room full of men in suits. Who were still arguing over the winners. Alonzo sighs heavily and proceeds to his seat in the middle of the loong table.

After a couple of hours of heated discussions and many arguments the final winners are to be announced. Alonzo steps outside of the newly refurbished office building and stands on the podeum. There were many bodyguards surrounding Alonzo and this gave the effect of it being a presidential speech. However, this was far from a presidential speech and was the announcement of the winners of the drabble competition.

All the drabbles that were submitted, have been read, read again and again and then judged. It was extremely difficult choosing winners for the drabble and thus there is no first, second or third place prizes.

We sorted them out like this.

                                                                                            So the winners
Most Original prize goes to: Pariso
Most Creative prize goes to: -Kompton87
Most Suspenseful (or whatever the word is lol) prize goes to: Bismarck
Most Action-Packed prize goes to: Aldo

Congratulations on the winners of the St. Louis Drabble Competition. I shall inform my personal accountant to send you over your prizes. Your drabbles were.... different as one should say. Haha. Congrats once again.

Have fun with your cash prizes. ;D

Now as for the other drabblers, St. Louis couldn't send you away empty handed. So as a thank you present for joining the drabble competition. I shall make sure my accountant visits your bank soon. This drabble competition could have been done without the help of two other special people. I want you all to say thank you to the wonderful Hound who helped judge to the final winners. And also, one very, very special person who helped me organise this thing. The one and only -BostonGeorgeJung. Thanks alot guys. And -BGJ, once again congrats on your promotion to godfather.

Alonzo, steps down from the podeum and goes back into the office to make a phone call to his accountant to award those for their hard efforts. Alonzo does one final wave and the huge oak doors close behind him.
