Rebecca walks down the busy sidewalk looking sexy af, the fierceness of her confidence matched only by the fierceness of her high heels.  Heads turn as she heads down the street.  Rebecca smiles to herself, knowing that she could have any mobster she desired in this mafia-ridden city.  She looks around at them, wondering which one she wants to make her first conquest.

Her smile quickly dissolves to a disappointed scowl as she realizes the answer to her own question is "none of them."  No matter, Rebecca is an investigative mob journalist with more important duties on her mind, such as finding a hot story for her next piece.

Rebecca scours the streets looking for something, anything of interest that she could report on.  She visited the local businesses asking for juicy gossip she could mend into gold. Alas, her search results came up nil.  She was about to give up hope and blow her own brains out until her pretty eyes came across the obits section of the newspaper.

"Hmm, this looks interesting."

Rebecca begins the investigative process immediately, even going as far as to get ahold of the FBN transcripts obtained by the undercover agent who was in attendance at the funeral.  Her eyebrow cocked as her eyes scrolled over the eulogy by DickGrayson's own Left Hand Woman, @Illiano_Santoro.

"Rules exist for a reason." Rebecca read the transcript with heightened excitement. "We asked you to sign the rules immediately upon accepting our invitation, but you did not. You did, however, find the time to buy yourself protection. Not a good way to start in this life.  Rest in peace.  No witness statement required."

She continued reading as others in attendance expressed their disdain for this young man's untimely passing.  Words such as "dictatorship" and "you didn't deserve this" leapt up from the page.  Rebecca had found her big story.

"Hello all, my name is Rebecca and I am an investigative journalist reporting on the death of ZePilintra.  I will be collecting information and conducting interviews to ensure that my reporting is not only accurate, but fair.  That entails speaking with parties from both sides of the story, so I will require everyone's cooperation to make this story as great as it can be.

If ZePilintra's son or daughter is out there, I would like to speak with you as well, and will be glad to offer money in exchange for your time to help compensate some of the money your deceased father spent on protecting himself, albeit to no avail.

I'd like to ask that everyone keep an open mind as I construct this piece, as there is a lack of investigative journalism here in the mafia, and my only motive is to fill that void.  Please wait until my report is made public to make assumptions, as I am only in the early. stages of my investigation.

Maybe that is because yo hardly read any periodicos y just sometimes skip through los obits. Por ejemplo, I also missed los muertos de Karizma y ThomasCrown, too. Y when yo looked at newspapers viejos, sus obits seemed to estar vanished. Weird tiempos for los that pay too poco attención..

As for tu case, the death de ZePilintra, tengo two things to decir.

Rebecca, if you would like to interview me as a character witness to Don Grayson, I would be happy to oblige. He has given me a home, several cash loans and a guiding hand, while as of yet I remain unmurdered, so I can attest to his good nature and generosity. Furthermore, it is my opinion that ZePilintra was likely a wastrel and a good for nothing who no one loved or had ever loved and I challenge anyone - even MrHans - to prove differently. Not only does his murder seem justified but, if anything, it comes across as a net positive for the world. His cold, lifeless corpse being in the ground is a direct parallel to me to planting a tree or saving a dolphin from a fishing net. The only dictatorship I see here is ZePilintra's monopolization of failure; his intolerance for the political pluralism of the Adequate Human Being Party and Rule Following electoral bloc.

The thing about these investigations is, once rocks start getting overturned, you never know how deep the rabbit hole will go.  But it's going to require cooperation from everyone to make this work.  Be in touch my lovelies.
