Venus landed in America a couple weeks back and after finding herself a place for accommodation and a work she enjoys, she finally has the chance to look around the city and make herself familiar with it.

She walks the streets and a feeling of nostalgia comes flooding in. She stops. What was that? She wonders. She has never been in this place before and yet she can't help but feel sorrowful. 

She clutches at her chest and continues to walk towards her house. Perhaps she should have a rest. 

As she is turning the corner of the last building, she is hit by a stench of death. There she finds, in front of her, a lifeless body lying beside the garbage cans, half decomposed and fluids pooling around it. Flies and maggots swarmed around it. 

Venus retches at the scene before her. She pinches her nose and runs away in fear. 

Finally, arriving at her apartment, she shuts the door close and collapses on the floor, sweating, and her heart racing. 

"How cruel the world is, " she thinks. "At least my work doesn't involve me working in dangerous situations." She thinks about the furry little kittens and puppies she fed at work today. They always cheer her up. 

Little does she know...

Venus is sleeping peacefully when a sound wakes her up. She opens her eyes and looks around her room. It is dark but a streak of light entering through her window is enough to light up a portion of her room. Just then, she notices a dark figure move across the room and to her side. She looks to the right and finds a tall man standing beside her. 

His hand reaches his pocket and pulls out something. When she realises what is going on, it is too late.

BOOM

Venus wakes up and finds herself on her bed. She gets up and searches around her room in a panic. No gun, no bullet, no shady man. Was it all a dream? 

She sighs. It is already lighter outside. She has to get ready for work...

Over the last few days, Venus has not only been having nightmares but also a series of strange dreams in which she went to places she has never been to and met people she has never met before. 

The other day, while she was riding in a taxi, she saw a building that resembled one of the buildings in her dreams and she can swear she has never seen it before as it was the first time she was in that city. 

She asked the driver about the building to which he replied that it was called Haneul Palace, one of the most popular buildings around. It had the best tea house and the best library in the city. This made her remember that she was visiting a library in her dream. Curious, she decided to check it out.

"Drop me in front of that building," she told the driver.
