I'm going to go ahead and say that the 1992 Penguins have the best chance of winning this year. Lemieux, Jagr, Mullen, Tocchet... Suck on that young ones! Stars (my team) squared off against the Oilers many a time back in the day in the playoffs. To be honest, watching hockey feels uncomfortably homoerotic at my age. I'll just root for Joe Thornton at this point. He seems legal...

Does anyone really see a negative if the Leafs win one? Toronto may suck as a city but their team is cool enough and it's been 54 years. We would all be like "that's cool"... Like when the Red Sox won. Neat but who gives a shit?...

I'm a major Avalanche fan and I really hope this is their year; the season mirrors 01' so much and the team is perfect. Keep our offense up, improve our defense, and keep everyone healthy and we'll be set to go. Next round will probably be our hardest.

The Canadian teams from what I see are busy duking it out hard already, and its only the first round. They might have to keep going without energy or much rest further forward.

Enjoying toronto and montreal as well as  wild  and knights series, had expected the knights to do better after the regular season

BRUINS! Leggo! First round mauling of the CAPS, now it is onto the New York Islanders! Taylor Hall was a sweet addition to the team and I think they will go far. But unfortunately, only time will tell the tale!

I use to be a big sports fan but now since I've gotten much older I don't watch sports that much or not at all, I guess it just don't appeal to me anymore like it use too but I have nothing against people who do.

Pretty happy that I got my wish and the Oilers have been swept. Almost feel bad for Oilers fans... soooo many years of first round picks, they should truly have had a legacy of cup wins over the last10-15 years... but nothing. 
At least as a Canucks fan, I’ve pretty much always had the expectation that my team will do poorly, so I’m never disappointed! And occasionally, pleasantly surprised 😊

Shame really, I was hoping that the caps would do me and my falures(I mean Flyers) a favor and KO Boston for us.

The Penguins did great, really proud of them. Strong goaltending all around and I'm sure they'll bounce back and win game seven.

Like you said JoynerLucas I hope the Bruins beat the islanders and Im glad they knocked out the caps. I missed the game but it was nice to see that the Golden Knights made it to the second round!

Surprising with quick exits of Pens & Caps.. anyone's cup this year. Except Sens.. they were out of the race in November.

Talk about a choke job from Toronto.  Something I've also noticed while watching them play made me realize that a few of their players seem to be scared of getting hit, Marner above all of them.  He gives up way too much space and skitters around corners/gives up space to avoid personal contact.  I get that you want to avoid injury, but shit, you're getting paid 10M+ a year.  Dude makes more than Ovi at this point.

Colorado looks very scary, but on the other hand Vegas was pretty much the only other decent team in the league that they were put in because of Covid.  Hope the series gets better than the 7-1 blowout that happened the other night. 

maks for an interesting next round with the last 6 being 3 wins a piece between jets and montreal, jets hit hard but the 7-1 montreal had over the jets in regular season mean anything can happen.   Really not looking forward to whoever gets the Knights or colorado, if knights play lik they did round 1, colorado will destroy them then the winners of montreal/jets

Simple fact is jets end of the season weren't the same jets that got the team up there.   As much as Montreal are a club living in the shadow of their past, the truth is regular season attack and defence has been average at best.   Jets jyst haven't had them great power plays like regular season either.

Fact is we can look who the teams are that Montreal used to compete again in the old division Tampa, Bruins, to know they are a decent team.   Depending which Colorado or Vegas turn up, depends on the result.

I want to see the Bruins knock the islanders out. lets GO BRUINS!
