In a number of major cities - New York, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, New Orleans, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Detroit, betting offices have been setup to accept wagers for the street lottery and for keno tickets.  

Tickets were handed out at all local bars, restaurants, luncheonettes and corner stores.  Periodically, kids working with the wiseguys would collect the tickets and deliver them back to the drops throughout the various cities.

4. Payouts occur within 24 hours after the drawing occurs.

1. Payouts - 600 to 1 on your wager.  Take the amount you wager and multiply it by 600 - that is your winnings.

2. Minimum Bet/Ticket: $1
