Man the absolute disinformation in here is ridiculous, people saying that you can get infected with COVID from the vaccine, that other people can then catch it from you and posting articles as proof when in fact the article discredits them. Then we have the dude reposting the same story twice, a story that if was true would be all over the news and social media.  Then we have others saying MRNA is experimental, it's been researched since the 1990s with various trials.

TheLoveliestSpikeS absolutely, they can't provide a single article about it.  Even if it wasn't mainstream news (one person dying from a blood clot was) then surely local news?  

Then again maybe there is some credibility in it.  When I was younger I got the BCG vaccine, it was sore, but we all managed and coped with the initial pain.  Then suddenly, boom, without warning, and only over decade later her husband lost his job due to the crash of 2008. Coincidence?

Totally agree the ridiculous information here is just that but also I believe potentially dangerous too. This virus kills, we have a vaccine. I am all for personal choice but some of the things said here is crazy and has zero scientific merit at all. 

Although PeterMcNeil you have a point actually....my partner had theirs 5 weeks ago and yesterday got a splinter fixing something in the garden.....now I am begining to wonder to be honest.....blimey thought provoking for sure...

I already had my first vaccination a few weeks ago. But since I get the Astra-Zeneca one, there is 12 weeks in between the first one and the second one. So I have to wait some more to get it.

First one did give me a feeling I had a little fever, but only for two hours or so, then it was gone.

 Im getting it a sonn as I get the call!! Spain a bit messed up to the vacs but pullin thru slowly but surely !! Old People have been takin care if quick wich is nice to see!! and down the list we go!!

Does anyone think there are baby fetus tissue chunks in the vaccine? Or are we all clear on that? 

OK, to put this all in perspective, and I don't begrudge anyone who wants or feels they "need" to get the vaccine, it's all down to personal choice.

I however, will NOT be getting any of them as things stand.  My reasoning as follows:

1. My mother, a fit, healthy 66 year old.  Not overweight, never poisoned her body with drugs or cigarettes, eats and lives healthily.  She went in for her AZ vaccination along with my father a couple of months ago when they were offered to their age group.  All seemed well on day 1, a little bit groggy and fluey.  Day 2, she developed blood clots, had a stroke and ended up in A&E where it was touch and go for 3 days.  Coincidence - I think not.

2. The pharma's have a lot of form in saying things are safe when in reality, they are not.  Thalidomide anyone?

3. The testing and studies have been rushed and botched in my opinion.  This was a race to be the first to develop a working vaccine and was all driven by money.

4. The UK government passed various bits of legislation (under the radar and massively unreported) that basically prevents anyone who suffers adverse effects due to the vaccine being able to claim any kind of compensation from the pharma's.  Something fishy going on for sure here.

5. Our politicians are truth twisting charlatans and I don't believe a word ANY of them say.

6. With this virus being related to flu viruses and common cold viruses, it will mutate (as is being seen now around the world) very very quickly and there is no guarantee the vaccines will continue to be effective.  Hopefully they will be, but it is going to take another 6-12 months to ascertain this to a level I am comfortable with. 

Now, that said, I am not an Anti Vaxxer and I never will be, vaccines, when properly researched and tested are a great thing that have decimated many debilitating diseases; Polio, Smallpox, Measles, Mumps, Rubella to name a few.  However, I just don't feel that the due diligence has been done on any of these vaccines and until I can see for myself, be it 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 years down the line, that it is safe to pump into my body I will not blindly accept everything I am being told by our corrupt politicians, pharma's and media.

I will continue to be a good human being, I will keep my distance, wear a mask, sanitise, not touch things unnecessarily in shops and do anything else I need to do to protect those more vulnerable members of our society.  I have avoided it so far and thusly have not been responsible for transmitting it onto anyone else.

I do wish you all the best of luck with your "immunity" though.

TBH, I don't think highly of the AZ vaccine, especially for women. As for the MRNA vaccines... (Pfizer, Moderna), those I can attest to. 

@Mr. ThomasCrown, I am aware that that person has had stuff removed off their page for having misleading things in their articles. I am also aware that FB flagged the  Official government site for human rights (for being against community standards), so I don't put much stock in what FB or any of these social platforms block  or flag. 

 Some of his stuff maybe misleading, but not all of it is, just like the everyday news people watch.  Even misleading information has truth at its base.  His information is no more misleading that Wikipedia. This is why cross referencing is a great tool. And when  some research is done  people  will find other articles that back what he is saying and they are not flagged as misleading. 

Go ahead touch on the new symptoms of the flu, the covid is a corona virus the flu is a corona virus they are the same. This is why when the corona pandemic happened you didn't see those "in charge" pushing the flu vaccination anymore, and you stopped hearing about flu deaths.  The covid is the new flu.

I usually don't respond to this level, of lack of understanding. However, I feel I must in this case. 

So the flu pre-vaccine. People use to die by the millions. Cause people just couldn't stop coughing. This would cause extreme exertion and dehydration. And that would lead to their eventual demise. Those that were able to drink alcohol, rest/sleep and drink tons of water. Got off their beds and went on with their daily lives. Without very many side effects pertaining to it in the future. 

Fast forward to COVID. Its NOT the FLU. What it is....is a virus. Is Influenza/Flu a virus? Yes absolutely. However on a molecular level the encasing of a Influenza virus is very different than the encasing of the COVID virus. Its due to this, that the COVID virus was able to be lethal on such short notice. 

Actually, for all the vaccine nay sayers...who like to target J&J vaccine. Probably don't understand how that vaccine actually works. Pfizer/Moderna basically built their vaccines as a replicated reverse-transcriptase helix. That looks very much like the actual COVID Virus, w/o the ridiculous death rates. J&J on the other hand, attacked it from the level of a 'Flu' Virus. They took the encasing of a Rhino Virus, which is very similar to encasing of a 'FLU' virus. 

And guess what? Pfizer and Moderna perform better than the J&J one. You know why? Cause they actually reverse replicated the COVID virus. J&J tried to do that with a "Flu" replication and wasn't as successful. 

So this whole conversation about COVID being the 'new' FLU....is just downright a LIE. From a molecular level, virology level and even the news level. 

People didn't get Renal failure, Myocarditis, Pulmonary Embolisms, Stroke, Myocardial Infarcts from surviving FLU. 

Athletes playing NCAA ball, have these above diseases post COVID...

As they say, proof is in the pudding. The covid pudding is something, no one wants any part of. Regardless of how healthy you are.

Also, to address the "FLU" didn't happen this year crowd. 

You know why the FLU rates were non existent this year?

- Masks, washing hands obsessively and distancing. 

People don't realize how effective the 1st route is here. When it comes to Viruses. Ill promise you something, IF half the population actually kept practicing this route every FLU season. We will see a drastic decline in FLU rates. And think about it from a 'common sense' perspective. You can't catch the flu if every crevice on your body is covered. You can't catch something if you keep washing hands all the time. You cant even spread the flu while coughing, due to masks and distance. 

Its not all that surprising. That the flu this year was non existent. For anyone that actually understands the 'method to the madness'. It was confirmation, that the protocols were right on point, to fight a virus.
