I tend to browse the art or murals whatever you want to call them. I appreciate expression of all kinds , well most kinds if it is aggressive expression it does nothing but detracted from the beauty of the art and most importantly the message the art is trying to convey. Communication is an art and like most arts it comes easily to some and it is difficult for others. Art also tends to give people closure because art is always depicting what is happening in the now or past and how the artist feels about it. Most art is not seeking approval of its self , but seeking validation for its thoughts, sometimes it merely wants to make people see something from a new perspective, or inspire a new thought. That said I am highlighting this piece art in this art critique. https://mafiareturns.com/news/uprofile.php?id=2650931 Overkill is the artist, are they "salty" perhaps, or maybe they are exasperated because they like some artists need closure. Like animals need air. Now if you get past the rambling of someone who is obviously seeking a path through a labyrinth which is an art in itself. You can see exactly what they are seeking. Not everyone interprets art the same way , you see I feel that this particular closure they are seeking was not direct enough for them. Because a reason was given if you have skill in the art of interpretation which is part of art critiquing and part of the art of communication. So some artists need a little help interpreting other artists art. This is all that Overkill is seeking , in my opinion anyways. I may be wrong, it would not be the first time. Nonetheless, I am a novice art critique. So critiquing I will go.
That said Overkill the reason that Los Angeles was wiped I believe was given when Mxyz, whose name I am finally learning how to spell, I think anyways. Sorry I ramble sometimes back to what Mxyz said, which I believe is the reason that Los Angeles was wiped and is the bigger message to the general public is this.
In critiquing other artistic renditions that have been created by various artists, it is apparent that the community as a whole values activity and involvement within this thing of ours. While Los Angeles was a competitive city, and supposed to be allowed to function as it seen fit, obviously some of organizational values of this thing of ours are expected to be present. This comment which was never devalued tells us that this is the expected value of this piece of art regardless of the fact of the city being a competition city. |

Olivia sits quietly listening to the woman speak. She didn't really understand, it all seemed like a bit much, she wondered if the woman was new to speaking on the streets. Once the talk was over she hopped over to a mud puddle and got a bunch on her fingers. "Art is the best, I'm really really good at it, ya know?" She said to the woman, "See look!" and then Olivia motioned Mister Rodgers to lower himself, and drew a lovely curly que moustache on his face. "Thanks, Miss. Olivia." he said, his large frame standing to his full height and his face turning red with the embaressment of the entire encounter. Rodgers made note mentally to speak to the others about getting a raise in pay, if this was the way his scamp of an assignment was going to treat him, although he knew she did it with love. "Ya see!" Olivia said, gesturing at the man's face. "Anything can be art, and can be appreciated by anyone, but ya know. Don't read too much into it." she said before giving a bit of a laugh, "Some people have so much experince, like twenty or thirty years ya know?" she said, "But they're still dumb as shit about it!" she clasped her hands to her mouth just as the admonisment game from the bodyguard behind her, "Sorry," she said, words muffled behind her hands, "Bad word!" she looked up sheepishly at Mister Rodgers and he picked her up, plopped her on his shoulder and started back towards the headquarters to tell Mister Dean what she had said. "I think the local collage is doing art classes though!" she said loudly over the shoulder of herself and the brute taking her back, "Good luck!" she ended with an entusiastic wave. |

the squirrel god didn't concern himself with mortal issues, petty as hairy balls he thought. However he did concern himself with certain folk, thus he stuck his squirrely, godlike tuppence in 'subjective apparently..........but I know what I like and and like what I fucking well say, and if I could do it, it's fucking shit...despite me being infallible' I shall miss the humanoid Olivia though, she was worth being on this mortal plain for. |
