A Tribute To A Friend Started by: Marionette on Jul 06, '11 17:13

It seems like only yesterday, we were frolicking about, drinking Bailey's from a shoe and painting with watercolors. Remember the boat times? Or when you first showed me your downstairs mix up? You were Old Greg, I was Howard, and we were in a state of pure bliss.

Those were the good ol' days, when we surrounded ourselves with all things that are good. Dancing together, singing together, and taking turns violating BarbaraAmmer. Things just won't be the same without you.

When I first came to know you, we were drawn together by our common hatred of Falcon, and through that hatred our relationship grew. I reached into your pants daily, pulling out wads of cash, but that was only a cover up. It was really an expression of my love for you, and what we had together.

When you were taken from me yesterday, a void was left in my heart. I now know how old Craig must have felt when all his bins were taken away, how the legendary Adebisi felt when he was mocked for his lack of mastery of the English language, and how the current MR community feels about the disappeance of 'The Chuckle Knuckle'. It hurts, and will continue to hurt for as long as I live.

Things will never be the same without you, old friend. You'll be missed, but let this serve as recognition of your life, and as a token of my appreciation for all you did for me.

You'll be missed, Brent

RIP

Figures, the directions to poor Brent's funeral would get fucked up.

I really screwed the pooch on this one.

Report Post Tip

OMG!  I was so touched by the tribute.  Until I read the obits.  And now...now I'm just entertained.  Nice.

Thats how I fell in love with Old Chuckle, too. True story.

Report Post Tip

What nonsense this is, everyone loved Falcon. He was the peoples champion Ill remind you.

Report Post Tip

Yes, Falcon was loved like a bad case of the hemorrhoids.

I won't stand for this nonsense, Alexander. Especially in a place to pay tribute to the late, great, Brent.

Get back to washing the Sweet Life Bakery windows and stop being delusional.

Chuckle bowed his head. There was nothing that cut him deeper than the loss of a beloved family member. Brent had renounced his obligation to the church when he burned the saint, just like they all had and now he had to hope he found his place in heaven anyway. Chuckle listened solemnly as Marionette paid his tribute and he nodded as the man spoke, the childlike lilt he spoke with as a result of the bowling accident when Alexander had mistaken his nuts for the pins, providing a juxtaposition to the magnitude of the words.

"You'll be missed, Brent." Marionette keened out finally, before sinking to his knees and bursting into tears. Chuckle felt his pain and offered him an arm up. This was a hard day for all of them, he knew.

"You had been with us for a long time Brent. You saw the delight with which we first took on Alexander, slowly turn into bitterness at his distinct lack of ability. You witnessed the fall of the mighty ThomasHarrow, infamous mouthpiece of Chicago. You held Gordon_Zola's hand in the hospital, when he gave his kidney to his cat and you porked BarbaraAmmer, giving us your son, Augustus."

Chuckle took a rattling breath, maintaining his composure as his emotions ran wild inside.

"Adebisi is probably giving you the nod from heaven and I'm sure somewhere, you're engaging in some wrestling, with the judges determining who wins on the basis of their academic merit. Craig would be dipping a fresh batch with you in the sky and the idols of Anselmo, Godfathers Tallien & Sidious, will shake your hand."

Chuckle held Marionette's hand as he continued to cry and whine bitterly.

"The Chuckle Knuckle is back for you brother. I'll never forget those glorious days we had, cracking jokes that tickled insane_killer so much that he passed out. Nothing will ever erase from my mind the time we plotted to kill Falcon, only for the lummox to do the deed for us. How we cheered. How we laughed. Turtleneck and I will have a sandwich in honour of you, the great man."

Chuckle sighed.

"Rest in peace"

While I appreciate the heartfelt sentiments displayed here by Marionette, I don't think the Falcon jabs were necessary or appropriate.  Falcon was a good man, nothing short of a gentleman in all my experiences with him. I will not tolerate his name being drug through the mud. Refer to the suit Brent was buried in if you think I am joking. I put him in the ground for wearing it, the disrespectful C.

Alexander on the other hand... well, he's fair game. (Not sure what Chuckle is on about with the wrestling but it sounds pretty BADASS whatever it is.)

RIP Brent. A little too chatty for my liking but a good worker and asset nonetheless. There's a stool in that big Sweet Life Bakery up in the sky with your name written all over it, good buddy

Brent should have followed thru on his plans to remove Marionette and Chuckle, shame his death was so untimely that they where allowed to continue breathing.
