So I recently started collecting again because of my child. I have quite the amount of the base set 1999 and the newer chilling reigns available.

No lie, part of me keeps being surprised that Pokémon as a TGC is still so big. I figured by now everyone would've pretty well gone digital, especially with the rise of MMO type Pokémon, beginning with 'Go'.

Said I'd give this a bump, I've recently gotten back into collecting and trading.

Would love to connect with others as it's very uncommon in my area

Can't say that I've ever collected the cards but my son did when he was younger. That said though I've always loved the games and have played almost all of them that have ever came out. In fact even now I'm in the midst of my third replay of Ultra Moon.

Eeeeeeek! I don't actually want to buy any but this post made me very happy.  I have a whole binder full of a variety of trading card games.  Growing up I enjoyed just collecting cards.  Didn't really care what kind.  :D

Interesting topic lol, I have a bunch of original Pokemon cards stored in a booklet.. Its great when you go back having a look, brings back loads of memories from back in the day xD. 

My brother in law collects with my sister, and when he is like i pulled a £100 card is like wow, but they just stick them in a card album and never touch them, the idea down the line being getting the most rarest graded.     I don't have the patiene for it, and to find whats worth what
